Once a company tries to convince the user base that buying isn't owning, piracy suddenly becomes extremely appealing. Piracy is a service issue. If your service is more convenient than piracy, piracy rates will plummet. If you start raising prices with improving anything, you'll eventually convince your customers to switching to piracy.
