Automated Telemarketing Calls
Based on the chapter titel, you probably thought I was going to rant about automated telemarketing calls, which is true.
Well first of all they're definitely annoying and a waste of time. The most annoying aspect is probably how there is no universally correct way to "get off their list." Some might state that pressing 9 will put you on their do not call list, where in actuality it might just notify the caller that the line connected. This could then result in your number's value increasing and you receiving more calls.
Thus the only true method to permanently avoid automated telemarketing calls is to never use a phone.
