Welcome Misunderstandings

During the weekend, Xander started learning the first non-martial arts skill. He started learning calligraphy from Akisame.

"The star and start of all Japanese art, the art of the written word" Akisame explained

It took Xander a couple tries before getting the skill [intermediate calligraphy]. Xander noticed that some information, that he has yet to learn are now available to him. It was the same with drawing and throwing skills.

It seems that when a skill is created or when it jumps a stage, information is provided to ensure that Xander is in fact at that level. Similar to how balance and flexibility were added to his body when he finished his quest to gain the Grand Master physique, except it's in terms of knowledge instead.

Looking at the calligraphy skill, it appears to be at intermediate because of his Drawing skill. This means that skills can complement each other, so his learning of martial arts should help itself improve.

In addition to that, it appears the focus of the mind and calming of emotion when doing calligraphy was a great way to increase the Spirit stat.

It was an odd but welcome sight for the masters of Ryozanpaku to see Xander dance his 'happy little dance' after his calligraphy practice.

In fact, a couple young ladies found it quiet cute.

On Sunday, Ryozanpaku had a visitor.

Honoka, Kenichi's sister was worried about her brother. So, like a good sister, she came to check up on him.

After a series of accidents and misunderstandings involving Apachai, Shigure and Momoske (Shigure's mouse), everyone finally settled down. Xander thanked god it wasn't a weekday, otherwise Honoka would misunderstand his training for torture… even he misunderstood sometimes.

Initially Honoka was hostile towards Miu and Shigure as she felt they were tricking her brother, but she mellowed by the end of the day… towards Shigure at least. Miu fawning over her didn't help one bit.

Monday and Tuesday went without a problem, it was on Wednesday when life decided to throw a wrench in Xander's peaceful life.

"Is Shirahama Kenichi here?" after class, a voice echoed within the Xander's classroom

"Yeah" Xander replied absentmindedly, looking at the three that came looking for him "what is it?" he asked casually

Takeda was surprised by the calmness of the freshman in front of him. The simple sight of Ukita standing behind him would usually send people on the road of a nervous breakdown.

"We're here to get you to see Kisara-Sama" Takeda continued

"Why?" Xander asked nonchalantly

"You've beaten an enforcer of Ragnarok, so she wants to see what to do with you… I think" Takeda scratch his chin in thought

"I don't remember beating anyone though" Xander looked at Takeda confused

"You don't remember?" Takeda blinked at the preposterous situation "he was this tall, black short hair, part of the Karate club… he was fighting a Judo fighter" at those words a look of recognition dawned on Kenichi's face

"THE BULLY?!" he exclaimed

Takeda, Ukita and the short cannon fodder that Xander recognised but didn't care enough about to actually remember his name looked taken aback.

"Uh… I think so" Takeda nodded

Another look of confusion appeared on Xander's face "but I didn't beat him"

Takeda was getting tired so he asked with a sigh "you didn't?"

"Nope" Xander shook his head "I only bitch slapped him" he said as a matter of fact

Xander was quite impressed on how anime slapstick falls still happened even though it was his new reality. Xander really missed playing dumb, so he was going to enjoy this for as long as he can

"ARE YOU AN IDIOT?" screamed the short cannon fodder but then his angry look changed when he spotted Miu, to a perverted grin "is that your girl?" not waiting for a response he continued "I will beat you and claim her as mine"

*SLAP*

They didn't see it. All they saw was… whatever his name was on the floor, shock filling his eyes. The air felt stifling at that moment. The smiling Kenichi was no longer there and the three thugs felt cold sweat going down their back.

"That was your first and only mistake when dealing with me. Now I am a busy man, if your boss wants to see me, tell her to come herself" Xander then gave them Ryozanpaku's address "find me there during the evening and weekend. Now stop bothering me"

Xander moved past them and they felt barely able to move until Xander was almost out of the classroom "oh and, it's where you can fix your arm" Xander left with his words still hanging in the air, not caring to continue his act anymore.

It wasn't until the next evening that Xander heard Apachi calling "KENICHI, GUEST"

Kenichi was in the middle of learning a defensive move using the sword from Shigure, so he looked to her for permission. When he was given a nod, Xander moved to see who it is, sword in hand and Shigure following.

The scene that Xander came to when he got to the living room was hilarious.

Poor Kisara was surrounded by the masters who were asking her about what her relationship with me is while subconsciously (probably) releasing massive amounts of pressure.

The poor girl was hanging onto Miu as if to a lifeline, while Miu pet Kisara as if a cat…

Needless to say, Xander burst out laughing, much to the bemusement of the masters and embarrassment of Kisara, who HISSED at him

'She IS a cat' Xander confirmed in his mind

"So you're Kisara then?" Xander asked as he regained himself from his Laughing tirade

"Kenichi" Kensei began "who is she?" he asked with a glint in his eyes mirrored by the rest (including Miu)

Xander smirked at the girl "one of my future girls" Xander didn't notice the misunderstanding he was creating as he continued with a shrug "Hopefully"

To Xander, his girls, were the girls he took care of, the girls he would do the shovel talk with their boyfriends, his girls are simply put, his girls.

To everyone, including Miu, Shigure and Kisara, it meant a whole different matter, and judging by their red cheeks, they definitely misunderstood.

"I don't really mind" was the soft mumble from Miu that if you weren't a master or right next to said girl, you wouldn't hear it.

Unfortunately for the girl, that applied to everyone in the room. When Shigure looked at Miu and nodded with determination, Xander felt the [Blessing of a sister of existence: Love] taking front and centre, causing the misunderstanding and the emotional development to the girls near him.

Not that he would correct them, he wasn't that dense.

It was then that another voice echoed "Um, how long are you going to ignore me" a blond…

"A REVERSE TRAP!!" Xander exclaimed
