Avengers vs The X-men

" Yeaaaah!" Hope yelled as she tried kicking Scott. " You can't take him from us, Scott. He's one of my people." Hope exclaimed as she continued kicking, only for the man to grab and twist her ankle and throw her to the ground.

" I told you, we'll discuss that later for now you need to train. Now again."

Scott explained to the girl before continuing their training.

As those two trained Bart was up in the lights meeting room talking with them.

" Come on, Bart. You can't leave us. This is your team. This is where you belong." Laurie told the boy.

" I didn't want to be moved up. But I have no choice. You heard Cyclops in a few hours I'll have my first training routine with the X-Men. I tried talking him out of it. But he was adamant that I was ready to move up. And that he wanted me on his team." Bart explained to the girl.

" You don't have to do what he says, Bart. You can choose to stay with m- with us. Just tell him no." Laurie replied.

" Look, I don't even know if this is going to be a permanent thing. So, don't worry about it okay? And besides, it's not like I'm leaving or anything. I'll still see you all every day." Bart explained to the group.

Laurie huffed and pouted in her chair as she was upset by Bart's response.

Gabriel on the other hand couldn't help but laugh at the poor girl.

" Shut up, Gabriel." Laurie shouted.

" Hey, don't be like that Laurie. I for one am glad to see another member of the team moving up with me." Megan said to the girl.

" Yeah, hey if Megan can be an X-man and work with this team, then so can I." Bart simply stated before relaxing back in his chair. " Laurie look, I'm not going anywhere and if you need me, I'll be there for you. I always will." Bart said to the girl before laughing.

Laurie looked at the boy an uncrossed her arms as her face blushed purple.

' I need all X-men on the beach now!' Scott had Emma transmit to all mutants still on the Island.

Bart and the others looked around at each other in confusion

" What's going on?" Laurie asked.

" No idea. But I don't think it's good." Bart said as he looked out the window to see every member of the X-Men and the New Mutants gathering in force. Bart looked up into the sky and the realization dawned on him. " Oh, that is not good." Bart said to the group. " Look up there." Bart told the others as pointed to the helicarrier in the sky.

" Oh my God. Are those the Avengers?" Laurie asked in disbelief. " What are they doing here?" Laurie asked in a panic.

Suddenly the door to the meeting room burst open and Emma walked in carrying Hope with her.

" This is all because of me! I should be out there!" Hope yelled to the older woman.

" If it's any consolation I'd feel the exact same way in your shoes. But I still can't let you go, Hope." Emma explained to the girl. She then shoved Hope into the arms of the others. " Keep her here. No matter what she says. And all of you stay inside, or the Avengers will be the least of your worries. You Mr. Allen are different. I believe Scott ordered all X-men on the beach. Now, let's go!" Emma yelled to the boy.

Bart nodded and quickly changed into his suit and ran out onto the battlefield leaving Emma and the others behind. Bart looked around and saw that magneto was being beaten by a speedster in green and white and decided that's where he would start.

" Can't hit me can you, Father?" Pietro asked as he repeatedly punched Magneto in his face.

" Maybe, he can't. But I can!" Bart yelled as he punched quicksilver in his face.

Quicksilver rolled along the ground and looked up at the boy in shock. " Who are you?" Pietro asked.

" Impulse! The fastest man alive." Bart replied.

" Bold statement. Let's see what you got kid." Pietro said to Bart before getting up to his feet and running at him. Pietro punched at Bart, but bart moved out of the way and tossed quicksilver over his shoulder.

" Gonna have to thank, Hope for that one." Bart stated before running to regroup with the rest of X-Men as they stood against the Avengers.

" Letting kids fight your battles for you, Slim?" Logan asked as he slashed at Scott.

" Where you see a kid. I see a future X-Man. He's proven his worth, Logan. Have you?" Scott asked as he blasted the man away from him.

' Everyone regroup!' Scott ordered telepathically.

The Mutants quickly left their fights and rushed to regroup by Scott's side.

" Nice job, with Quicksilver kid." Psylocke said to Bart.

" Looks like you're ready for this after all." Scott said to the boy proudly. " Now, take them down!" Scott ordered as he fired at Captain America, who blocked the man's optic blast with his shield.

Bart ran into the crowd of Avengers and was nearly taken off his feet by one of spiderman's webs. " Bart ducked and grabbed the web and began spinning with it and flung Spiderman across the beach.

" Ugh!" Peter groaned as he hit the sandy shore hard. " Whoa... That kid is fast." Peter groaned.

" Yeah, I know." Logan said as he helped Peter to his feet.

" Man, Logan. Scott sent you flying this far?" Peter asked in disbelief.

" Slim's not pulling his punches this time. He's gone further off the deep end than I've ever seen him. But that doesn't matter right now. Follow me web head. I know how to get to Hope." Logan explained to Peter.

Peter nodded and the two began walking through one of the Islands storm drains.

Scott not being an idiot noticed that Logan was gone and knew something had to be wrong

' Logan's gone. And so is Spiderman. Oh no.' Scott thought to himself. ' Emma! Broadcast me to the others!' Scott yelled to the woman telepathically. Emma nodded and linked everyone up. ' Logan's going after Hope. I need every able body to move with me.' Scott explained to the mutants.

However, before any of them could react an explosion went off in the room where Hope and the lights were watching the fight.

" LAURIE!" Bart yelled, however before he could run to the girl he was punched in the face by Ironfist. Bart reeled and then looked up at the man in anger. He grabbed Ironfist and spun him around and just like spiderman launched him across the beach. He then turned and raced towards the room where the lights where and saw that Hope was gone. Wolverine and Spiderman were both smoking and the lights were unconscious. Bart leaned down and grabbed the smoking blue woman and held her in his arms.

" Suddenly the wall to the room broke open and the Avengers and X-men both ran in.

" Where is she?" Steve asked

" HOPE?!" Scott yelled.

Both teams looked down at the unconscious students and the two avengers and decided that the fight was over.

" Someone, Help her. Please." Bart asked the adults as he held the girls smoking body.

Scott and Steve both looked at each other and a silent agreement was made. The fighting for today was over. The Avengers gathered the X-Men together and evacuated the remaining students from the Island with Scott's permission. However, things weren't so simple. Once the students were gone the X-men with the help of Magik escaped from their captors.
