CCTV footage

Inside the CCTV room, the hotel manager explained that the entire hotel was booked because of the show.

Sampson frowned, it did be hard to find the criminal then.

The guards on duty that night were summoned inside the room for questioning.

The footage from that night was played and they watched the scene with eagerness. Eyes glued to the screen as though they were observing a specimen.

Well...it was more than an observation though....

Marie was seated in front of the dressing mirror, her PA beside her. She seemed to have whispered something to Marie who nodded in response. Soon her PA exited the room.

After some seconds, a lady walked in. Her hair scattered to the extent that it covered her face.

The fat guard freaked out. Definitely she was the one who had kicked his ass...

He trembled and Sampson noticed it but said nothing. He continued to watch the footage.

Marie stood up on sighting the scary lady. She looked terrified as the lady walked up to her uttering something inaudible.

She muttered something to Marie who looked confused.

Then she kind of arranged her hair, revealing her face.

" Damn it!" Sampson roared as he noticed what the lady was doing all these while.

She knew the camera was active and so kept her back to the camera. They couldn't see her face since she was backing the camera.

He ordered them to zoom the video but it still wasn't visible.

The lady grabbed her arm forcefully and Marie begged in tears.

"She must know this lady" Sampson said and they nodded.

She forcefully pushed her, making the makeup kits scatter over the place.

Then she brought out something - like a knife. It wasn't very visible, so they zoomed it.

" A nail cutter?"

" This is weird!" Nike commented.

The lady sliced Marie's throat and watch her struggle with death. After staring for what seemed like ages, she cut off her ring finger and carefully put the ring inside Marie's breast pocket.

" Wait...she took the finger?.. that's disgusting" John said and every shuushed him.

Then the lady left, covering her face with her hair.

" She's talented..but a killer can't hide for to long" Sampson said leaving the room. His teammates followed suite.

Seated in a circular manner, they shared their thoughts and reviews. Sampson interrogated the fat security guard and his partner.

" I saw your expression earlier... what do you know about the footage?" He asked, his question directed to the fat man.

" That lady was the one who... knocked us out." He stammered embarrassed.

Sampson's eyes bulged. And his team mates glanced at each other. How can a woman possibly knock you and your partner out? Their eyes asked.

The guards bowed their hands in shame.

" Did you see her face?" Sampson asked a stern look in his eyes. He hoped for a positive answer.

" No. Her hair covered her face..we didn't get to see it." The second man replied.

Sampson slammed his hand on the desk, making his partners jerk in fear.

He sighed. " This is just useless. You too are fools, you aren't meant to be guards" he stated pointing fingers at them, one after the other.

" How can you let her enter through the back door? Don't you use tickets?"

" Maybe she didn't have..."

"Just shut up. You're so incompetent. Did you notice anything strange on her part?" He asked standing this time around.

His team mates just kept mute. They knew better than to talk whenever he was angry.

" She did say something strange though..." the fat guard replied almost in a whisper. He looked scared and his partner wondered what he was saying.

Sampson's ears grew longer " what did she say?"

" She said - I'm making way for the boss. He would arrive soon" he spat out.

Everyone looked confused.

" Is she working based on instructions? Probably her boss?" Mario suggested.

Sampson smiled. This case really is interesting.
