Chapter 39

Throughout the week, Bella and Scarlett had worked at their weddings between trips to the hospital to visit Mason. Scarlett hadn't seen Noah all week, but he had been on the road with the wrestling company, so it was normal he would be so busy.

  It was the day of the wedding and Scarlett sat in her bridal suite, broken-hearted her father wasn't able to be there to walk her down the isle. She had asked everyone to leave the room so she could chat with her father privately via video chat.

"Daddy, I miss you," she said, talking to him on Facetime. "I wish you were here."

"I will be, just not physically. I'll be right there on the television monitor watching my baby girl walk down that isle. Buy the way, you look beautiful, just like I knew you would. You look just like your mother."

"Thank you, Daddy. I'm going to get ready, and I'll see you after the wedding."

"I'll be ready."
