(Knock Knock Knock!)
A knock came on the office door as Scarlett was stewing over the month's profit margins. Grabbing a frustrated fist of hair, she grumbled, "Come in!"
Stepping inside, a tall, fit man with a glowing smile looked down at her. Instantly knowing who the massive man was, Scarlett ran to hug him, burring her face in his chest.
"Wow, sweet pea, I wasn't expecting such a warm welcome," he said, hugging her back.
Feeling her whimpers against his chest, Gage pulled her back and arm's length to find tears streaming down the plus size woman's face.
"Oh, Scarlett, don't cry. What's wrong?"
"It's all falling apart, Gage. I don't see how you do it. I'm a mess and I don't know what I'm doing. I can't let Daddy down. I just can't."
