Chapter 35
After finding a nice room with a beautiful view of the lake, Bella decides she would do a little exploring while Jett was chatting with Scarlett. She made her way outside, letting the warm sun beat on her face. The late summer day was just what she needed to relax. The pool out back would come in handy when she needed to get away from the chaos. Being at the lakefront home was feeling like a vacation and some part of her was excited about it. The other part of her was a nervous wreck, thinking about marrying her long-time crush without him even knowing she liked him.
Walking down to the lake, she followed the dock, looking through the dusty window of the boathouse, finding a nice boat and a couple of jet skis.
Smiling, she giggled to herself. "Men and their toys. I should have known he would have had all this stuff. He's such a typical man."
