Don't you understand? My whole life has been turned upside down.

I woke up and what I first saw made me scream. I saw two pair of eyes staring downwards at me.

"Woah, easy it's just me"! Ajax said.

I was breathing in and out." Where am I ?". I asked.

"In my house?"

"You didn't take me to the hospital?" 

"No?"

"I just fainted dude?"

"So?''

"I need check up Now!!!".

"You are ok see"

"Now!!

"Fine get ready".

"I have no other clothes and this is dirty and sweaty. I am itchy". I said.

"The bathroom is that way. I will get you some clothes". AJ said and left.

I entered the bathroom and removed my clothes. I turned on the beaker and started bathing. After bathing I saw a T-shirt and jeans on the bed.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" I shouted.

"Wear it or walk naked" AJ said.

I didn't know how to wear a dress. But I didn't know how to explain it to AJ. So I somehow wore the dress. Which took about half an hour.I came out and AJ was in the hall. He turned and looked at me.

Eyes locked. He looked at me up and down.

Staring deep into my eyes but what happened next was unexpected.

AJ let out a thunderous laugh. I was shocked I thought he was admiring my look.

"What?" I asked annoyed.

" Do...do...do you realize you've worn the dress inside out?" he answered trying to catch his breath.

"Well, I..I don't know how to wear a dress". I answered.

"Yeah, great excuse". he said.

"I mean it".

"What?. Now I live with a baby?.Fine I will help you".

"Oh thank you. You are a saviour. Just one more thing. NO PEAKING"!!!!! I WARNED.

He rolled his eyes.

" You think I would use my hands to remove the cloth and wear it for you?" he asked.

"Yes, what other way?" I asked.

"You'll have to learn to do everything on your own princess". He said.

He instructed me to wear the dress. Later, I got out and we had an appointment with the doctor. Everything was fine and okay. But after getting home I started to feel hungry. That's when I remembered I hadn't eaten since yesterday's morning.I decided to order for food but I had no money. So I had to ask AJ who was playing games.

"uhmm... excuse me AJ ". He ignored me.

" I am hungry".

"Kitchen's that way". he said without even looking up.

KITCHEN??I hardly remember stepping foot at the kitchen.

" I can't cook".

" Look princess. You'll have to learn to do everything else for yourself. Now you have no servant, no money. So go make food for yourself". he said nonchalantly as of this was an easy task. Getting used to a new life.

I went to the kitchen and googled 'how to make a sandwich'.

After adding everything I added cheese and placed it in the microwave oven to melt the cheese.

But as I waited. My phone rang. It was our lawyer. I had called him yesterday.I picked the phone.

"Hello, Mr. Davis. Were you able to reclaim everything?".

"It's not that easy". he answered.

"what do you mean it's not that easy?. Huh? Are the properties not for my parents? What is all this?". I said furiously.

"well, they are but they were acquired illegally and that's the problem". he said.

" I don't believe that nonsense. I know my parents"!! I was on edge of breaking down.

" Listen Arden, your parents never registered their business though it was a large company and some of the materials used were illegally smuggled into the country so all the money and properties acquired from the company is termed to be illegal". he explained.

I was in shock. I didn't know what to say.

"Where is Isle?"I asked .

"Your sister is in the hands of government since your parents won't be there to take care of her and you are not yet financially stable". he answered.

"But I had money in my account my bank denied me assess".I screamed.

Just then a strong force pulled me from the kitchen counter.

My phone landed on the floor with a sound. Great now I have no phone. What did I do to be treated this way?

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

"Are you trying to burn down the house?" AJ shouted.

"What do you....?"That was when I smelt it. Smoke was coming up from the microwave. AJ bravely put out the fire and cleaned the oven. Then he passed by me and left. I felt he was angry.

Great!!! First I loosed my riches and Parents. Then my sister and my boyfriend. Then my best friends and phone. And now it is AJ and the microwave in just 48 hours span!!?

I picked up my phone and it was okay. Thank goodness.

I sighed and went outside.It was night time.I was all alone, hungry and bored to death. The usual me would be having a pool party by now, with friends and strangers. But here I was all alone. I had to sort things out with AJ.

I went back in.

I went to his room and he laid on his bed. Shirtless staring up at the ceiling with one hand under his head.

"Uhmm ..... AJ?"

"AJ I am...I am...I am..."

"you don't have to say it if you haven't even said sorry before".he said.

"it's not like that...."

"IT'S NOT LIKE WHAT? YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! YOU COULDN'T EVEN TOAST BREAD WITHOUT A MISTAKE!!!. WHAT IF SOMETHING MIGHT HAVE HAPPEN TO YOU? TO US????".He shouted.

It was new to me.No one had ever shouted at me. Not even my parents.How dare he shout at me when I needed comfort and love. I just received bad news. He threw my phone and now I am hungry and it was night time.

"DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN TURNED UPSIDE DOWN"!!! I

slammed the door and left.

I settled on the bed and started crying into my pillow. I let it all out. I was lightened after an hour okay now I was really HUNGRY!!! I heard a knock on my door. I was happy. All girls would if they were in my position.

I opened the door.

He held my hands and pulled me out of the room.

"where are we going?".I asked.

"To eat". he answered looking forward.
