Ika darted between the towering ruins of what had once been a bustling port. The ground shook with every blast, and the air was thick with smoke and the sound of clashing steel. His heart raced, his chest tightening as explosions erupted around him, debris flying through the air. 'I'm not ready for this.'
Ahead, he spotted a crumbling stone wall, just high enough to offer some shelter. Ika sprinted toward it, his small frame weaving through the chaos. The roar of battle grew louder behind him as the commanders and his crewmates clashed in violent bursts of power. He could hear Cani's flames, Moon's time mantra, and Yuma's reality-bending strikes—all thundering through the battlefield like a storm.
Just as he reached the wall, a blast from Voltis's lightning attack cracked across the sky, striking the ground only feet from him. The force of it threw Ika off his feet, his body slamming into the side of a half-collapsed building. Pain shot through him, and for a moment, he lay still, trying to catch his breath.
"I need to… move." Ika gasped, clutching his side as he pulled himself up, leaning against the wall for support. His mind screamed at him to run, to get out of the battle, but there was no escape. Not this time.
From behind the rubble, Ika peered over the edge, eyes wide as Cani fought off Voltis and Grimsa, their attacks sending shockwaves across the battlefield. Moon's fight with Ragnar and Sairen was a blur of high-speed movements, and Yuma—Yuma was locked in a devastating duel with the top two commanders.
"I'm not supposed to be here," Ika muttered to himself, eyes darting for any safe place to go. But there was none. The entire harbor had turned into a war zone.
Suddenly, a massive explosion sent debris flying toward him. Instinctively, Ika dove behind the wall again, his heart pounding louder than the blasts around him. He could feel the heat of the battles raging closer, creeping toward him.
"I just… need to survive," Ika whispered, pulling his knees to his chest as he tried to steady his breathing. But even as the fear gripped him, a part of him knew this was far from over. He was trapped in the eye of the storm—and soon, it would find him.

Cani's breath came in short, sharp bursts, her muscles tensed as she squared off against Voltis and Grimsa, the 5th and 6th commanders of Ikati's forces. The battlefield was a storm of chaos around them, but for a moment, everything else faded into the background.
"You really think you can handle both of us at once?" Voltis sneered, electricity sparking around him. Cani smirked, her fiery aura igniting, flames licking up her arms.
"I'm not thinking about it, I'm doing it." Grimsa charged again, his fists slamming into the ground with such force that the earth cracked beneath him. Cani darted to the side, narrowly avoiding the blow, before launching herself into the air, spinning in a fiery arc.
With a swift movement, she hurled a ball of searing flames toward Grimsa's head. He raised an arm to block, but the heat was too intense—it singed his stone skin, forcing him back. Cani jumps forward and ax kicks him from above, quickly spinning into a tornado kick to the head. Voltis shouts.
"WHY YOU!" Voltis moved next, sending a torrent of lightning crashing toward her. Cani twisted mid-air, dodging the strike, the bolt narrowly missing her. She landed with a skid, her fists blazing with fire as she dashed forward. The flames mixed with Voltis's electricity, the battlefield becoming a storm of elements.
"Too slow!" Cani shouted, weaving through their attacks. She ducked under Grimsa's swinging arm, then spun to deliver a fiery uppercut that caught him off-guard, sending him stumbling. With a quick pivot, she turned her attention to Voltis, who tried to catch her with another lightning strike. But Cani was faster—kicking Voltis across the cheek, spinning into a second kick to the side in quick succession.
Her heel connected with his side, the impact sending him flying backward, electricity crackling out of control as he crashed into a nearby structure. Grimsa, still disoriented, barely had time to react before Cani launched herself at him next, her fist glowing with fiery energy.
"Molecule Conundrum: Ignition Fist!" she roared, A massive fist of flames formed behind her. her punch landing square in the center of Grimsa's chest. The heat from her strike melted the stone armor around him, and with a deafening crack, Grimsa collapsed to the ground, defeated.
Cani stood over her fallen enemies, her chest heaving as the flames and electricity around her slowly died down. She took a moment to catch her breath, glancing down at the smoldering remains of Grimsa's stone body.
"That's what you get for underestimating me," she muttered, wiping sweat from her brow. But just as she started to relax, a low rumble echoed across the battlefield. Cani's eyes widened as she looked up, seeing a wave of Ikati's army rushing toward her through the smoke and debris. Dozens of soldiers, armed to the teeth, were charging at full speed, their weapons gleaming in the sunlight.
"Great… just what I needed," Cani muttered under her breath, her flames flickering to life once more. She clenched her fists, the exhaustion in her body pushed aside as adrenaline kicked back in.
"Guess we're not done yet," she said, a determined grin forming on her lips as the army closed in on her.
