The slaughter of the villagers

As Robert yells out die the knight says to himself as he thinks . Well he's not very good no technique at all . But then again he's a village boy I might make him my squire cause even though his technique is garbage right now . Which is something I can easily fix but his efficiency is great .

He wants the wolves dead just think about what else he can do . But I still need to think is this a good thing his bloodlust is insane . But it might just be directed towards magical beasts and monsters .

I walk up to the little boy and say to him boy do you hate monsters I absolutely loathe them the boy says . To me inside I'm kinda surprised that even knows this word and i start to think he probably knows what it means.

He then says again no that's an understatement If I had the power I would eliminate every single last one of them . That exists on this planet he then says .

I say that's gonna be real tough to do kid he says I don't care I can't even think about how many innocent families and lives have been ruined . By monsters who attack humans .

I then say have you ever had the thought they attack humans because they do it for survival he then responds but they can just eat each other . I think this doesn't make any sense but to start to think . Why do they attack us where not much of use to them . When he continues and says

In fact I don't know on who's side I'm on humans can be just as selfish and monstrous as monsters themselves .

To say it simply I just wanna make peoples lives better . I don't want to be some cold person who has no emotion or someone who has too much emotion or some one .

Who has little regard for human life or someone who cares too much about human life . Including the lives of the selfish and greedy .

But for the common folk like me who have their lives ruined those are the ones I fight for the ones I slay for .

So let's keep going kid but quickly the blood on you is gonna attract monsters no I have just the thing .

Here he says as he throws some weird punch pore it on yourself and the blood will go away . I follow his instructions as the blood then flows onto the ground .

I then say the blood is gonna attract the monsters to this spot so let's go . We soon start running in the direction he points me in . While we run we can hear growls grunt howls and other animal sounds come from the woods .

I continue running until we go into a little clearing where I see a whole lot of blood on the ground . You might be wondering how am I able to see my eyes have just adjusted to fighting in the dark .

When I was still on the frontlines we also had torches but when we couldn't get those we would have to rely on our adapted eyesight .

Because of that people like me are called nighthawks because of our ability to see in the dark . Which makes us very dangerous opponents being able to attack an enemy who can't see you in the dark .

Many of us are used as assassins or others special knights I'm one of them . I continue to look at the scene with a cold expression under my helmet .

As I can hear the kid mutter and say so this is where they all died . I then say so let's some justice for you when I look in front of us and see a large gate .

I walk in front of it and kick twice and then it falls I then say let's go when I hear people's voices yell out what the hell is happening out there .

I hand the kid the sword he used before and take out my great sword . I then turn to the kid and say kill them all I didn't expect the kid to actually do it .

But he went on to killing I had his back and he had mine . He would knock one of them over somehow before getting on top of them and stabbing them either in the heart or the brain .

Some times when one was behind me he would force himself to hold the blade . Straight before ramming in to their chests while I went forward to deal with the opponent I was fighting .

I would destroy the weapon of an enemy as he would then go in between their legs and stab them in the heart .

Or stab them in between the crotch that had to hurt but you may be asking me why am I doing this it's because it's a law . Under one of the laws of xaxotis these villagers must be killed because they will be deemed as cultists or very similar to them .

They are also held responsible for the deaths of the children they fed to the wolves . And it's not like we can exactly hunt each every one of the wolves which killed them . They all look the same the only difference is their mark . And we can only see the marks of their clans once we kill them .

And the only other ways to tell them apart is by their size or wounds or anything like that but their billions of them so it's almost impossible to know .
