The horrors of the outside world

I start crying as I think about my death such sad stuff I didn't live an exactly good life but I was content. But that life of mine will end right here just one last time I shall cry . Just one last time the woman tells me it .

When we finally reach the gate I can hear the gate opening as they throw all of us out into the outside world . As soon as we were thrown they closed the gates. As the children got up they panicked and started banging on the village gates . And yelling out mommy and daddy father mother please. Anyone Robert just looked into the wolf as he heard wind rush past the tree tops .

And leaves rustle I hear crunching sounds as footsteps or paw steps approach . I smell death in the air depression sadness . I start to get ready to run for it when a giant wolf head suddenly pops out from between the trees .

I stumble as I say loudly to my fellow child w...wolf s ...spir but before I can even get it . Out the wolf pounces on a child next to me everything seems to go into slow motion . As the children's heads turn slowly towards the wolf and scream like they never screamed before .

Nooooooooo Jacob Ahhhhhhh Nono this can't be happening . Mommy daddy please help I stare into the eyes of the wolf with a terrified expression . As it's eyes seem to glow red .

As it then let's go of the boy named Jacob's neck and starts running at me . I quickly turn around and run at the direction the wolf came from .

Only to see multiple other giant heads stick themselves out from the middle of the trees . I fall back down on my ass . As I look at them as they slowly approach them they then pounce on the tiger children .

And brutally rip them apart I quickly get up as they aren't paying attention to me and run I run I run I run. I feel scared I feel like a coward for leaving those children behind .

I feel like I'm just saving my own ass but I can't do anything to avenge them or some shit unless I stay alive .

So I have to run I tell myself in order not to feel guilty .

I cry I've only lived with these kids for 12 years but I still care for them .They're still family there still human they have futures while I don't .

I've always been a failure in my past life and this life as well I'm an absolute failure my mother and father should've been ashamed of me . But they decided not to they should have though I can never be a functioning member of society .

I say as I stumble in the forest I can't die now though maybe I can redeem myself maybe maybe just maybe . But I swear to god I'll kill all of those no good villagers they abandoned me and the others for their own survival .

It seems like there sacrifices have worked so far but still I can't believe they would do that to people especially children .

But as I continue to run and jump and stumble and fall in the forest I think . But he then hears a tiny voice in his head say to him .

But people were always this selfish in your own world . Morality is a lie war is truth the spilling of blood is truth evil does not exist . Good does not exist they are all made from perspectives .

There is no yin or yang it does not exist good and evil were never a thing . Society decides whether something is good or evil .

The strong survive while the weak the strong flourish while the weak are trampled . The weak are forced to abide by the rules of the strong .

And so if you are strong you can change everything everything about your life .

When I hear another voice in my head do not be tempted instead of becoming strong for yourself become strong for others .

As he continues to run and jump in the forest the other voice said when have I said that he should become strong for himself and not for others . Only time will tell says the other . Power corrupts all who have never had it . Once the weak get a taste for power they will then know who it feels to be strong .

After this they can no longer be brought back they have been corrupted and their moral compass broken .

As I continue to run and jump the voices say so which do you choose for yourself or for others . I do not know yet but for now others .

I think there smiling when I say this as they say we will meet again .

I start thinking this is a magical world isn't it but I still need to keep going I need to survive the only path is forward . I hear birds all throughout the forest and crows leave rustle .

Howls when silence finally takes over the forest when I finally start seeing lights and I think fire . When I see a man wearing a helmet and armor his armor sorta looks like mandalorian armor but instead of blasters and stuff like that .

He has a long bow on his back and some weird great sword . He seems to spot me as I speed up and think should I interact with them .

I slow down as I start walking I put my hands up as he sees this he says who are you . I tell him I'm from a village deep in the woods there's a little forest clearing where we are .

But today I found out that my fellow villagers were cultists and tried to sacrifice me and the other children to the forest creatures .

The knight seems to look at me suspiciously as he says I see then can you lead me to this place he says .

I then say let me guess you think that bandits or something sent me here to lure you into the woods so they could ambush you .

He then says yes I do think that your a trap in order to lure me into that forest but bandits definitely can't take me down .

I fought in the unification wars of the kingdom of xaxotis it is translated as kingdom of the beasts because we have in the foret des betes . Or forest of the beasts this forest stretches most of the entire kingdom .

Cities are very rare because of all of the magical creatures demons elves and other creatures which like to attack us .

Sometimes humans work with elves sometimes elves work with dwarves sometimes we all work together .

There are hundreds and thousands of kingdoms in this world made up of all types of different races . Humans are mostly friendly with each other most of the time at least the other times well all killing each other .

While the same goes for the other kingdoms the only time we really ever worked with each other is when the demons started getting out of hand . Or when the devils started appeared out of the portals there are also dragons in this world .

But most of them have been killed off and aren't very large now the only real dragon like creature you can see with out getting immediately killed or eaten .

Are wyverns and we don't consider to be dragons cause there just not as powerful as them and they don't have any of their powers .

They rarely ever breath fire too and they only have two legs instead of four .

There are classifications for dragons as well but if what you said is true or not I'll tell you . Now come on he picks up a normal looking sword instead of the great sword .

On his hilt and he starts walking into the woods I follow him close behind .
