It was a beautiful morning like no other ever seen before.
The birds were singing because of how beautiful it was, that's right, it was a beautiful morning for a fateful day.
After Alisa last night cried as if she had been born for the second time, she was taken to the academy by gentlewomen.
In front of her dormitory door, Airi was bent over waiting, she heard footsteps. She thought it was Alisa, it really was, but she was being carried by women in armor.
Seeing that, sadness came over her face.
Entering her room, Alisa told her what happened. Airi, burst into tears in a more painful way that doesn't even compare to the time when Rudel yelled at her.
All night long they both cried.
They even fell asleep on the floor.
The next morning, for some reason they were in the same bed covered with the sheet.
Also on the side of the bed, on a small table, was a freshly prepared breakfast. It was the kind that even cold, you could enjoy.
A note was taped to the silver breakfast tray for both of them, it said "whatever happens, don't go out, a guardian will come to pick you up to leave".
The note was written in a very mechanical handwriting.

On the border between the Kingsfort Principality and the Talis Commonwealth, there was a fleet of steel-covered ships.
Something like that was impossible both in the game and this world, but there they were.
On the flagship, the largest of them all. There was the king of the commonwealth, Rafiel Grima Talis. Even in such a place, he liked the darkness, in his room he was resting.
Someone knocked on his door, it was the prime minister.
"Your Majesty, we will soon leave the border between our country and Duke Kingsfort's territory."
With a tired voice replied the king "...well, let me know when we reach the royal capital, you can take command until then."
"Understood."
After hearing Borzak leave, a small light from a lamp flickered on, it illuminated to the only area he was interested in.
In that area was a familiar box.
A grown man, a woman who was his wife, and a small child.
Seeing that square, Rafiel muttered "I will avenge them soon."
◇◇◇
In a room in the Royal Palace were two men talking on a magic communicator.
"It's just as we rehearsed it."
"Yes. Don't worry."
"How's that business going?"
The big-bearded man laughed for a brief moment.
"In a few hours, as this morning will be my appointment ceremony for the post of prime minister."
"I see, congratulations."
"Thank you."
The conversation between the two men seemed to have ended.
"Before we cut, you should tell the temple to go to them as well."
"To the temple, why?"
"Isn't it obvious? For the future prime minister to support the temple would be an act of astonishment at how benevolent he is, since no one had ever allowed this."
There stood the big-bearded man thoughtfully and then said.
"You're right, I'll tell Dixit to get off his fat ass. Well, with that I take my leave until the next time I'm prime minister and you're king, Franz."
"Same to you, Moldred."
The communication was cut off.
The door was knocked to call the person inside.
"Marquis Balzac, it is time!"
The man inside smiled.
"I would like the ceremony to be postponed for a short time, there is something I must do first."
With those words, the future prime minister came out.
◇
For some reason, a great hubbub could be heard upstairs.
I don't know what happened, but I hear a lot of footsteps, whether armor boots or not.
What the heck is going on?
Yesterday I was notified that I would be executed in the morning.
I was not afraid, I did not panic.
Have I become insensitive?
I don't think so, rather, I think it's acceptance.
Did dying once make me see death as something natural?
I hope not.
What does scare me is that after hearing that, Ixion disappeared from the place.
I called him several times and he never answered, it scares me to think that this guy is really going to kill them all and that's the reason for the commotion, but it seems not to be so.
I say this as a middle-aged man walked in. Behind him were several gentlemen.
I knew what this meant.
They said nothing to me, seeming to enjoy my vacant expression.
◇
Taking me out of the prison, they led me to an unknown door of the same prison.
We were walking for several minutes.
Everything smells musty. The floor is rock and the footsteps we make echo.
My hands hurt as they were gagged together which makes it very painful for my bones.
I thought this was the prison break or something.
Until I saw it, a light at the end of the tunnel.
It was there, where it really scared me.
I remembered the day I died.
I was scared like now; I feel like my pants are not dirty like that time, my legs take very weak steps and the guards push me to walk faster.
I am afraid.
Stop.
Or else...
Ixion will kill you all.
My mouth doesn't even move, the light gets bigger and bigger as we move forward.
Please stop.
Say it's a joke.
I will tolerate it and laugh with you.
We went outside after crossing the cave.
There, I really wanted to do in my pants.
A group of gentlemen and nobles were seated.
To one side was the famous noose and its staircase.
Couldn't it be the guillotine, are they sadists?
The knights made me walk by bumping me a little.
Slowly, against my will, I climbed the stairs that would take away my new life.
I am afraid.
I want to cry.
I don't want to die again, no one can guarantee me that there will be a new life waiting for me!
I was already on the platform and a big-bellied nobleman noticed my frightened face, he just laughed while slowly in a sadistic way. He placed the rope around my neck.
The nobles and knights laughed.
Stop.
Ixion will kill you if you don't-
"Master!"
My thoughts were cut off by an electronic voice as was the rope by a laser beam coming from somewhere, and then my stomach was hit by something small and round pushing me several meters from the spot.
After falling, the knights and nobles got up. They were going to come at me, but then.
Boom!
Something fell on the spot where I was to be executed. It was a big explosion that generated a lot of debris and a big sound.
My eardrums hurt.
I heard a buzzing sound, gradually the buzzing was fading away and I heard the voice perfectly.
"Master!"
It was Ixion.
"We are under attack!"
Hearing that, I looked around and a fright never seen before flashed across my sight.
It was bodies. Mangled human bodies along with debris.
What the hell was going on?
Ixion was directing me to look up at the sky.
I did, all I could say was "Are you kidding me? Tell me you are."
A large fleet of ironclad ships were taking to the skies above the capital.
Mobile knights were falling from the ships, they had a large number of weapons.
The number of ship was 60.
Small boats were descending with armed people.
To make it all worse, a dozen large planes with 4 wings were slowly dropping bombs.
What the hell was going on?
I asked Ixion who amazed me that it was none of his business.
"Hey, tell me what's going on!"
"Vera, I was getting everything ready to attack the palace. But before I did anything, I watched as this fleet invaded the kingdom's territory and the defense forces did nothing."
"I came to save you to escape. So hurry up and evacuate."
I stood watching Ixion as he suggested escaping while the sounds of bombs and explosions fell in different parts of the capital.
Escape was the best option, they were trying to kill me. They were going to make it if it hadn't been for the attack.
"...Or." added Ixion looking at my face.
"You can fight here and now, and show the palace what would happen to them for betraying you."
"Huh?" I replied intrigued.
"Knowing him, I know he would escape, but those two would surely say they would not leave. So, he only has one option. Fight, I fought and finished off his enemies. It's the only way for the situation to turn the balance in his favor."
From Ixion's body, a syringe came out on a wire handing it to me.
"What is this?" I asked uneasily.
"It's a drug, it decreases the body's endorphin while altering the sense of survival through adrenaline."
"What do you mean?" The answer terrified me.
"In simpler words. With this, you will be able to do anything and feel nothing. No matter what you do today, you will not feel any pain."
I stared at him and then at the syringe.
Normal people don't kill people.
Society punishes those people.
For that reason, I don't want to kill anyone. I want to hold on to the last thing I remember from my former life. My sanity and sanity as a normal civilian.
But...
Right now.
"If you wish nothing to happen to those two. Only this is the only solution."
"There's no other option, is there?"
◇◇◇
On one of the battleships were some soldiers entering their mobile knights.
They were chatting happily before leaving while picking up their rifles.
"Is it true that guy is a coward who doesn't kill?"
"So I heard, none of those who fought him have died. They've had fractures and bruises, but they haven't died."
"I see. It is a joy that such a coward as that has been executed."
The soldiers were getting off the ship ready to attack.
"No one will stand in the way of the-"
Suddenly, one of them fell silent after seeing a black figure approaching towards them.
The soldier shouted "it's the trash knight!", and his companion replies "he's not supposed to kill right? Then there's no problem."
Society teaches people the punishment of what will happen to them for hurting others.
That was a teaching that divided animals from man.
"You're right, let's see who can bring his head."
But there was a much stronger teaching than that and it was....
"I'll be the one who will-"
...That the strongest always devours the weakest.
The man's companion before he finished speaking disappeared. No, he didn't. Something hit him, and he went flying backwards leaving parts of the armored unit in pieces.
The man then turned his gaze to the front. A panic came over him as he saw Battler pointing an anti-tank rifle at him.
The man with all his might shouted.
"You're not supposed to kil-!"
His consciousness faded as his mobile knight at the same time.
Meanwhile, inside Battler, Rudel was....
"Right. I'm going two, missing... who knows.... anyway, it doesn't matter, since many are going to die."
...Calm and relaxed heading for the ship.
◇◇◇
In a room in the Royal Palace, there was Marquis Balzac talking to someone on a communicator.
"Explain what the hell was going on this morning Franz!"
The man on the other end of the communicator, just stood listening to the Marquis as he shouted at him.
"This was not part of the plan! What the hell is wrong with you to order an attack on the capital?"
Finally, the man spoke.
"...Hey, Moldred. Tell me, are you an idiot? I don't think so, you're smart, I know, but tell me, are you stupid?"
The marquis was stunned for a moment and then reproached him for what he said.
"...W-what the hell are you talking about!!!"
"..."
"...Really?"
"Franz, answer me what does this mean!"
The voice on the other side was quiet until after a long sigh he said.
"Moldred, think this over, did you really think I'd have a man like you by my side?"
"What are you talking about, if all this time I've been supporting you!"
"Yes. I thank you deeply for that. Without you, this plan would never have worked. But, I repeat, tell me, do you think a man who targets his own allies or the old man from Ritzburg... would be a man worthy of trust?"
At that moment, the marquis's mind understood everything.
"...Franz, you.... are you betraying me?"
"What!!! No! I'm preventing a viper like you from wanting me dead too. What do you guarantee me that after you become king, you won't go for my head?"
Hearing that, which sounds like a lie camouflaged as truth, the marquis could only do one thing.
"Franz! No, Kingsfort, you damned rataaa!"
"...Sorry, but after being king and getting what lies beneath the palace. I will make you the last and greatest prime minister. I must educate Klein very well and that he does not become like you. Now yes, good riddance, Moldred."
The communication was cut off. The marquis had his hand on the conch-shaped communicator.
With great force he destroyed it as he cursed the man.
"Kiiiingsfooooort!!!"
More and more explosions could be heard in the capital.
◇◇◇
"...Hey, who are you?"
Alisa and Airi had gotten up after hearing the explosions.
They were in a panic because of the roar. Before rushing out without even touching breakfast, Alisa opened the door and there she found something new.
"Hello."
It was a sphere similar to Ixion.
Only it had no arms, it was white with stripes on the sides that made it look like a softball. It had a single lime green eye.
The sphere, was an AI and introduced itself friendly with a girlish electronic tone.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Bellion, you can call me Bell. Ixion-senpai sent me to find you."
The girls didn't understand what was going on outside, let alone the sphere in front of them, but they didn't care.
Alisa grabbed Bellion- Bell, and pulling her close asked.
"It doesn't matter who you are! Tell me what's going on outside, and is Rudel okay?"
After shaking the orb, she told them.
"P-p-please don't shake me! My circuits will pop out!"
Alisa, stop shaking it upon hearing it, after a moment said the sphere.
"T-the master was rescued a while ago, he is now fighting together with senpai."
The girls were happy to hear that Rudel, had survived, but their expression changed when they heard that he was fighting.
They went to the window of the room to look outside. They observed a ship being attacked by Rudel and it burst into flames as it fell to the ground.
The girls could not believe their eyes.
The sphere came in to speak to them.
"You two, let's go quickly, a group of robot guards are waiting for us outside."
Hearing her, and without grabbing their things they quickly left the room.
Not only them, many girls came out screaming as well.
After they came out and the sphere said "there is no one else inside."
A bomb fell, collapsing the girls' dormitory.
Alisa screamed, it was because of something she remembered.
"The dolls!"
The dolls that Rudel gave them both, were in their respective rooms.
They both watched as the building fell.
The gift given to them by their best friend, the one that symbolized the rebuilding of their enhanced friendship. They were in the rubble along with their rooms and personal belongings.
The white sphere said anxiously "the carriage has arrived, get in quickly".
They noticed that a carriage driven by robots arrived.
Some had weapons and others formed a shield.
Airi, seeing them asked.
"Where are we going, Bell-chan?"
Hearing that, the sphere seemed to blush.
"Bell-chan... so my nickname is Bell-chan, I like it! For giving me a friendly nickname, I'll protect them with extra dedication! Come on, get in."
The carriage door opened and they climbed in.
Airi, asked again and the sphere said.
"To the palace, the master once he's done, will head there."
The robots moved the carriage heading to the palace.
◇◇◇
(How did things end up like this?)
That was Rudel's thoughts as he destroyed the inside of a ship.
"Finish him off!"
"Bullets are useless!"
"Use magic attacks!"
The soldiers in mobile knights screamed in fear as their attacks; bullets, cannons and fire or rock magic hit Battler, but he repelled them all.
Entering the ship, Battler used two armed units as shields, the soldiers were alive. That didn't matter to the person holding them.
As if it were a game. One by one he threw them at high speed impacting different areas generating explosions.
He took out his two axes that he had on his back.
A terrifying scene never seen before occurred.
The enemy soldiers approached him, without even dodging, Battler cut one in half.
Prana and red liquid gushed from the cut.
Then, another, he cut in half like cheese.
The axe in his right hand he plunged into the chest of a soldier. With his left, he grabbed another soldier with his free hand, and with the axe in his left. He split the enemy in half by smashing the axe into the ground.
He proceeded to attack the enemies without their weapons.
Weapons were useless against a super technology.
"Get out of the way!" said a soldier coming with a large mortar being carried by two other comrades.
They knew what that meant, they would suffer casualties on their side, but the enemy would be destroyed.
They braced themselves, a magic circle formed at the muzzle of the cannon and with a great roar, a magic cannonball shot out hitting Battler which generated black smoke.
The surrounding area was also damaged, but there was no sign of the enemy.
The soldiers celebrated, until....
"It's too early to celebrate boys."
...Rudel spoke to them.
The soldiers watched as a figure emerged from the black smoke. It approached them as if it was walking normally.
Then, they reloaded the mortar. Battler was slowly approaching. The mortar charged and finally, Battler reached and put his fist inside.
The soldiers did not understand what happened as one pulled the trigger.
A big explosion happened. Once again, Battler, ended up without a scratch.
He pulled two small pistols from his back, and as if it was a game.
He fired in all directions; it didn't matter if there was no one there, if the bullets hit their target or not, all that mattered was the multitude of chain explosions that occurred.
Some were planning to escape, Battler threw down the guns and used his fists to prevent them from doing so.
He grabbed one enemy with his hands and, like a cracker, broke him in two.
Another he beat him to a harmonica, and so it went on until there was a huge explosion.
◇◇◇
An allied ship watched as the ship in front exploded.
Then, the captain of the ship noticed something.
"What is that?" the man said.
His eyes slowly widened as he watched as an object jumped out heading towards them.
The object was a jet black mobile gentleman that looked like a jumping ape.
The men in the cockpit fled.
As they exited, that black object crashed into the captain's cabin.
Its red eyes were so intense it looked like a wild animal. And like one, it climbed to the top and made a hole to get in.
Screams and explosions could be heard everywhere.
◇◇◇
"Ixion, report."
Rudel, called out to Ixion who was monitoring the situation in different locations with his drones.
"Those two are in a carriage straight to the palace."
"Enemies are moving in about 40% of the capital."
"Most are on foot and the rest are in armed units."
Rudel was grabbing a lifeboat, there were people climbing in. It wasn't a second that went by and the boat threw him, people and all, to the ground.
He was now being attacked from the rear, but he didn't think anything of it.
Ixion continued his report.
"I suggest sending drones and robots to deal with the units on foot."
"Very well, do-"
Rudel's voice was cut off by a scream-
"Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
...It was his.
"Ixion! Give me another dose now!"
Rudel was injecting himself with a special drug that eliminated any state of stress, fear or panic. The effect had worn off.
"Master, that's four doses already. At this rate when the effects wear off, it will be very bad for your health."
"Give me another one I saiiiiid!!!"
Hearing his master say that, a syringe with greenish yellow liquid came out.
He took it and injected it into his chest.
His eyes were soaked with blood, after a brief moment, he started to relax and act like before.
"Thank you. Have the other dose ready when the time is up."
"..."
Ixion stared at Rudel.
Then, he turned his gaze to the monitor to send a message to his subordinates.
◇◇◇
A group of drones flew over the capital monitoring everything.
Their bodies were spherical, with 4 propellers on the sides and a camera in the center.
Underneath their spherical bodies was a turret with an integrated machine gun.
Groups of 5 by 5 were divided to go to different invaded sectors.
A drone visualized in the distance a group of knights of the kingdom fighting against enemy soldiers.
The knight in the center was fighting hard against three, all by himself. His sword impacted against those of his enemies.
Left, right, the position was repeated until the numerical advantage won.
From the left, the knight was cut a little in the face.
"Gyahh!!!"
Cried the man in pain from the cut on his face. He fell to the ground and dropped his sword.
Then, as he turned around, the soldiers were pointing their weapons at him.
It was all over... or so it seemed until, a group of flying objects said in an electronic voice.
"Target: eliminate... invader."
A loud sound began to be heard. It was the machine guns spinning at high speed firing a dozen bullets at the soldiers.
Only 10 seconds passed and a large pile of corpses was found.
The wounded knight was the only one left alive.
"What was that?" said the knight as he watched the flying objects leave.
◇◇◇
"Fuck me!" Shouted an enemy soldier.
They were using a house as a shield. The interior belonged to a family lying bloodied on the floor.
They were taking cover, as a strange hovering object was firing bullets at high speed into the house.
The bullets were piercing much of the structure. Little by little they were destroying the house until the bullets stopped.
"Is it over?" said the man with a calm expression.
They were about to get ready to leave, but then....
"Hey, what's this?"
...An object fell inside the house. It was a small grenade.
A big explosion that ignited the house happened.
"Put out fire. No threat. Protect civilians and allied gentlemen."
A group of drones with extinguishers put out the flames.
Similar situations were happening all over the capital.
◇◇◇
"Finish them off!"
"Magic is successful!"
A group of soldiers who barricaded the square were fighting with rifles against a strange enemy.
The bullets were running out, so they decided to use magic power.
Large fireballs were hitting the enemies.
A wall of fire covered the attacked area.
"Hahaha take that kingdom trash!"
A man laughed victoriously. Until his laughter disappeared as his head was no longer there.
Powerful shots were coming from the flames.
The soldier next to the corpse watched as the barricade and comrades were destroyed without a problem.
Little by little, dark figures were floating by. Their bodies were black, in their arms with powerful rifles and red eyes.
One of them pointed at the soldier and he could only say.
"This is not fair-!"
The soldier's head fell after that.
◇◇◇
"My lady, run!"
The place was Count Roseblaire's territory in the capital, it was under attack.
A man with black hair, combed back, oriental features and a weapon that was called a kunai. He was fighting alone with his weapon against a mobile knight.
It was an extraordinary act, but idiotic.
This man, Madarao, could not achieve great attacks.
So he was offering himself as a decoy for his mistress to escape.
But his mistress was saying to him.
"Are you an idiot, I told you I would not allow you to leave my side!
The mobile knight was approaching the door. The place was a battlefield.
The soldier laughed as he pointed his gun at them.
"My lady, run!"
His mistress, Eleonora, did not want to do something as shameful as running away as it would be dishonorable.
The muzzle of the rifle was pointed at them and it was there, where a shower fell.
"Huh?"
Eleonora said as she watched the enemies being slaughtered by the hail of bullets.
As she lifted her head, she saw a jet black mobile knight leaving for another location.
They both saw him and then said.
"It seems, you have finally decided on the way of the warrior, knight-dono."
"Really, what horrible man are you to leave a girl with the word in her mouth?
◇◇◇
In a room in the medical room of the academy, there was a student waking up. He was recovering to this day from an accident he had.
"There is a lot of rumbling..." he said in a low voice, he was getting up slowly and slowly walking until he reached the door.
As he walked out, there was a loud clatter and no one around.
He walked staggering a little.
This boy, Fritz, was puzzled as he did not understand anything.
Only with a few steps. An object fell in the garden.
The clatter and impact made him fall as well.
As he got a little closer, he saw a mobile knight almost destroyed.
Then, one larger than him descended.
The mobile knight was black, grabbed a nearby lamp post and pointed it at the man.
"Wait!"
The man shouted, raising his hands from his armed unit.
"Please, mercy, I have a wife and children waiting for me at home. I surrender, take me prisoner!"
Fritz did not understand what was going on.
Battler stared at the man, a sound played. It was the cockpit opening from the front.
Fritz saw hidden what happened.
Then, he heard a monstrosity.
"If I let you live, others will also want the same deal. No prisoners is my answer."
"Stop! Please, nooo!"
Shouted the man as he watched Battler tear apart along with him, the armed unit.
Then, he flew away.
Fritz was shaking from what he saw, he approached in his robe and without sandals towards the soldier.
There was a large amount of red liquid filling the cockpit.
In it, a locket was floating showing a woman and children.
Fritz saw that it was true what the man said, then his teeth clenched and he looked up at the sky.
"He said he gave up!"
Fritz, he was a vigilante who hated injustice.
◇◇◇
The sky was full of airplanes.
They were all dropping bombs bit by bit according to the commodore's orders.
The problem was, those orders were no longer being given. Their ships were falling and allies,
One man looked out to see what was happening and saw it.
Fear came over him.
He observed a black armed unit with a rifle approaching them.
They dodged it and went in different directions so he couldn't shoot them.
It didn't matter though. After reaching a maximum height.
Battler, aimed the long-range rifle at a plane.
It was only two seconds. The plane exploded into pieces due to the bullet streaking across the skies at high speed.
Again and again at timed intervals the planes were brought down by a large bullet that streaked across the sky like a missile.
The planes desperately tried to dodge the bullets, but it was impossible.
The last plane thought it had gotten far enough away to avoid its end. But his luck was just that, an illusion.
Battler followed and the trigger pulled, the last plane was destroyed.
◇◇◇
"Hurry dammit!"
Askewell was fleeing in a boat that had been left intact. It was the smallest of them all.
"That scumbag was supposed to have been killed already! But what's he doing here? That's the only reason I told the fleet commodore to attack earlier - I wanted my glory and rank back!"
He was sweating, from the cockpit. He watched as Battler destroyed the entire fleet and planes alone.
Askewell was terrified. His panic increased further when a sailor said.
"Viscount Askewell, I looked over there!"
In the distance he watched as Battler fell toward them.
With a great roar, he broke the surface impacting in the center of everyone.
Askewell seemed to cry until he remembered something.
"Snotty- v-v-viscount Bradford! Glad to see you, remember me, it's me, Ask- the coconut head!"
Battler stared at him.
(I'll use this opportunity to ask for asylum!)
"I-I'm very sorry for what happened, I'm just a simple vassal as you can see."
"I would appreciate it if in your immense generosity. would you allow me and my men to be able to be housed as political prisoners under your control?"
There was an awkward silence, Askewell smiled with a hint of confidence after remembering how Rudel conversed with him on his ship.
"This ship..."
His smile grew as he heard what seemed to be his escape.
"...Is it the last of them all?"
But that smile changed to one of fear and horror as he heard the electronic voice.
"That's right. With this one, there will be no more enemies."
Askewell cried as he ran to the lifeboats along with his men.
Tears and mucus poured out as they desperately tried to climb into one.
Battler pulled his two axes from his back and said something that made Askewell turn around.
"...If you had said that before all this started. I would have accepted it."
Covering his face, he watched as suddenly Battler approached swinging his axes.
And, at that moment. The light in his eyes went out forever along with a huge explosion.
Emerging from those flames as if out of nowhere, Rudel was heading towards the palace.
The day of Rudel's execution has arrived, what will Ixion do? save him after destroying the Kingdom or...
Rudel decided to make the hardest decision of his life... to kill others in order to live. The most dangerous warrior in the world was born out of the corrupt's own ambition.
Now, Rudel will mercilessly destroy his enemies.
