Steel Bear (Part 2)

Ethan's heart started to beat faster and faster when a possibility came into his mind just when he was thinking about it the worst possibility he thought came true, like answering the painful roar of the bear another roar came from the deep forest it was the roar of another bear.

When Ethan heard it his heart sank because just from the power of its roar he was sure that the other bear is more powerful than the bear he is currently facing it's quite possible that the other bear is a Rank One magic beast.

When this possibility came to Ethan's mind he didn't hesitate and started to attack more aggressively on the head of the bear from the roar he just heard the bear was very close to his location it will not take more than a minute for it to come here, he has to kill the bear in just a minute and run away from here.

When Ethan started to attack more aggressively the bear also started to run here and there because of the pain it was feeling, when Ethan saw this he gripped the fur of the bear even more tightly from his left hand and continue to attack its head with his right hand.

After around twenty seconds since the roar of the other bear, Ethan heard the sound he was waiting for ,the sound of bone cracking, the skull bone of the bear that protects its brain started to crack and with just some more attack he will be able to penetrate it's brain and will successfully kill it.

When the bear felt that its bone started to crack and it will die soon if nothing happened it started to roar more loudly, it was calling for help as it was its only hope the other bear also roard when it hear the cry of its fellow bear but Ethan didn't stop attacking and continue to attack and when the forty seconds passed since the roar of the second bear he finally cracked open its skull.

Ethan didn't wait any longer he infused all his strength in his sword and made a thrust towards the brain of the bear, the dark Slayer sword with a green glow on its surface shone brightly and struck at the brain of the bear ,the bear gave a last painful roar before going silent it was dead.

Ethan who saw that didn't even check the notification that were coming on his status window and quickly jump down from the back of the bear.

He didn't even put the bear's body in his storage ring he just took the scroll that appeared after killing the bear and started to run far away from the fight scene he knew that if he don't run now he will surely get in trouble with the other bear the green glow around his legs become more bright and he runs away from the fight scene as fast as possible.

When he ran 1 km he heard an enraged roar of a bear even though he was 1 km away from the location of the bear Ethan couldn't help but shuddered just by hearing the roar he was now sure that it was a rank one magic beast.

Ethan didn't stop after hearing the roar of the bear and continued to run, after running for ten more minutes Ethan finally stopped the green aura around his legs long since disappeared.

Ethan climbed onto a tree to take some rest after climbing the tree Ethan looked at the notifications in the status window when he saw notifications a smile appeared on his face.

Ethan leveled up four times and he also received a good amount of state points for killing the steel bear.

"It's not just given me state points but I also received a skill scroll killing high-level magic beast are truly the best way to become stronger '' Ethan said while taking out the skill scroll from his storage ring but he don't know that most of the people can't kill high-rank magic beast while being low level this easily.

He was able to kill high ranking beast because his mana points were pretty high even when he was at level 0, he was able to kill forest Tiger because he can use mana coating to improve his attack power and speed but normal people who don't have that much mana at start can't use this skill to kill high ranking magic beasts at an early stage.

Ethan picked up the skill scroll and looked at its detail

After reading the skill details Ethan's eyes shone he didn't wait and crushed the scroll the, scroll turn into light fragments and went inside his body he felt his body becoming more sturdy and powerful just by learning a single skill.

His health points also increased by 20 points Ethan opened his status window and looked at his status.

After seeing the status window Ethan could not help but thought that his most of state improved by at least 3 times since he enter the dark forest and he just killed two magic beasts.

Ethan was happy to see that his magic state also reached 100 points the more magic state he has the more powerful his attack will be.

After taking a look at his status window Ethan closed it and lean against the tree trunk although he was not injured he still feel tired after the fight.

While resting he thought about the wind aura he used and could not help but shake his head .

"I am still far from using it properly" although it looks like he used the skill pretty well there were many issues with the way he used the skill.
