Chapter 58 Post battle analysis

"Post battle LOOT!" Lex couldn't hold his excitement from coming to the surface.

If that Elf was scammed for 800 platinum then it means one thing, their equipment must be expensive as well.

Their Armours is almost identical, made from bright blue scales. The only variation of them is their size and amount of scales.

Dwarf had the thickest armour, as there were two layers of scales. And the mage the lightest.

Adventurers aren't kind of people who would choose bad equipment. How can they trust the unproven material when their lives are on the line?

All of them wearing the same material means that it is a good stuff.

It didn't take long before Lex began to strip them from their armour.

First goes Dwarf.

'These hammers were quite interesting, fire and thunder. While they have too short reach, they should pay for all of the wasted lesser healing potions'

He stripped down Dwarf of everything. Even clothes below Armour weren't saved.

For a moment Lex stared at him. The body of the dwarf was shredded, it was possible to see all of the veins going on the surface of it. In comparison to human ones, there were more arteries. Body proportions were focused at the top with slightly bigger and longer arms. Legs were more robust with big feet giving better balance.

And the genitalia… Dwarfs were hated by nature like Gorillas, or at least this one was.

There surely were even more differences to uncover, although to do this an autopsy would be needed.

Lex really wanted to do this, but he stopped himself. He needed to uphold renown, if he was a murder hoboing his way through unwanted attention was expected.

On the other hand, Man Hunt for a dangerous criminal sounded quite interesting.

Following after Dwarf were Thief and Elf.

Now naked, they presented themselves to Mother Nature.

Yet when it came to stripping a blue-haired woman he had some problems. Basic decency said no while greed yes. Taking to an equation that it was the first time he was taking a girl's clothes off her, it made his rotten from isekai's brain melt.

In a compromise, he didn't take clothes below the armour, so she won't be called thot and be unable to marry.

He carried them close to each other because he wanted to keep an eye on them.

When it came to SoD and Sara he did the same, but kept two groups divided.

It was good that the mage healed Sara's back. However the scar remained, a bit smaller than before but still.

Lex felt a bitter taste of defeat. On paper he won, but in practice he lost. Especially as a Leader. It was a giant mistake to leave them alone to check up on how the situation looked at the Sewerage Treatment Plant. He didn't expect the situation to spiral out of control at such break-neck speed. It's a miracle that no one died. In the novel, there is only one mention of sewers, when Clementine escaped through them.

A non-important location. When he thought about it Sewerage Treatment Plant wasn't in the novel at all. It was a location from the Gatcha mobile game.

Lex thought that he should be more careful and foreseeing when it came to being on top. De facto being a Leader of a team meant that he was responsible for his teammates in some way like a nanny overseeing children. He needed to mend their squabbles and let them grow.

Their mistakes are his own and the other way around.

To the eyes of a casual their team is mainly seen as one entity,

Looking at it from another perspective leading a team is a good exercise when it comes to his plans of becoming a Noble.

When a plan succeeds he will have many people under him. Managing such an amount of people needs a real people's skill. Bureaucracy would crush him and his soul, and the problem with it will only grow as his lands expand.

Ainz on the other hand doesn't have this problem, his subordinates like Demiurge and Albedo are overly prepared to handle such tasks. Needless to say, Elder Liches under his command are intelligent undeads, who can work 24/7 adding to that he can make them more. Their zeal for Supreme Beings makes them perfect Clerks. They will never become corrupt to siphon money to enrich themselves as the only joy in life is to complete the orders of their creator.

It is not that Ainz doesn't have people skills, they are really good thanks to his job in corpo.

'I suppose it's karma. Ainz had a shitty life in his version of Earth. Every day he saw rotting corpses on the polluted streets while going for work. Taking into consideration an awful corpo, culture making him overwork every day. Nature was destroyed by pollution and the Third World War. Human Greed and Wrath destroyed his Earth. Quite sad life'

Yet subconsciously Lex felt relief that his World resolved such problems. Unified World Goverment in all of these flaws, was able to meet the challenge and overcome it.

While staring at passed-out Sara and SoD, Then at people he had beaten up. If they fought, Sara and the rest would Die.

The fighting skills of adventurers were remarkable, their coordination and varying amount of move sets could kill many groups of SoD's.

Lexes win was a fluke.

"If assassin/ thief wasn't preparing 'Ultimate Assassin Arts Special Killing Technique: BLARGH' and tornado disturbed it, I would be smelling flowers from underneath. Adding him from the start would also end me…"

Lex was struggling with three opponents, fighting four would be spelling death.

The Elf was the most dangerous one. In fight with him, Lex tried to use his most powerful Ace, the Strength. Only if he was able to grab onto the sword. Without it, Elf can't do shit.

He was like Over specialised character built in RPG, When disarmed it becomes useless. If left alone, it became a menace. Too bad Lex wasn't able to do it.

This sword flew like water out of his grasp.

In swordsmanship, contest Lex would also lose. His skills with a sword were abysmal, however a reach advantage could partially mitigate it. Yet he betted on the safest option, his own fists.

Dwarf and mage were nothing special.

The underground dweller lacked the agility to pose a substantial threat. His Hammers designed to break armour were made from inferior material rendering them all of their purpouse. Fire and Lightning Enchantments were not enough to close the gap.

Mage was countered by the Aura Overdrive a simple increase in activity of Aura on the surface of the entire body, If her teammates were able to block Lex from moving it would Drain all of his stamina.

However it's impossible to contain such unnatural Strength. The turning point would be a spell [Teleportation] too bad she didn't know it.

As Lex contemplates Sara's fingers beginning to twitch, it doesn't take long before her sharp green eyes open as she awakes
