Nothing.
Over 24 hours, and...nothing.
That is to say, Mr. Motegi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had yet to respond to Sakura Watanabe's accusations in the Yomiuri Shimbun.
When the piece dropped, Japan had been shocked. This was piece dropped by the Yomiuri Shimbun; a staple of Japanese print media. Sure, it was on their website and not the actual printed newspaper, but this was still a big deal.
That is, until people read the byline.
Katsuo Tadano and Sakura Watanabe.
Of course, the accusations came out as soon as they saw Katsuo's name. His trial for libel had been famous a couple of years back, and the stain of that judgements wasn't even close to coming off.
However, it wasn't until people looked into Sakura that the real ugliness came out.
