A CALL TO EX-LOVER

Mike, still in the sun, trying to get its warmth to figure out his next step in life. Although he had been in numerous relationships, he wanted to find his perfect rib and settle down. Managing the house chores was really hectic. He thought of finding a perfect helper, a lover to assist him.

As he engaged his mind in critical thinking, something came into his mind. An image of Sheila vividly framed in his little mind. "Wow, I miss this soul" he murmured as he salivated. Sheila was his ex- lover, the girl he had been devoted to for a considerable time, now away from him.

Mike took his phone, opened his gallery and carefully scrolled Sheila's photos. The photo gave him new energy. He was thinking about how best to reconcile with her. They had earlier disagreed on alleged infidelity. Mike had cheated on him, worse again with his best friend. That was what really hurt her, making her cry bitterly before walking away. Since she left, they had never engaged in any conversation. But now, Mike, after three months, seems to have missed her a lot and wants to look for her.

Mike goes direct to the call logs, he tries to search for Sheila. He. They had talked on call three months back and had some difficulty finding it. Wow, he smiled broadly on finding it, the contact he had struggled to find. He could not hesitate anymore. He copied the contact and called her.

"Good morning love" he began the conversation on a high note. Sheila felt surprised, love! What a mistake. She did not expect something of such a nature, having already moved on and now married, although in a 'come we stay' nature marriage. By the time the call was received, her husband was with her. In fact, she was sitting on her husband's thighs as they enjoyed their best moments.

Sheila had to respond to the greeting but in a guilty way. Her phones was slightly loud and audible. She had to find new ways to clear the record straight. She was too afraid to engage more in the conversation and wished to hang it, but hanging it would prove him guilty.

"Who are you?" Sheila asked, now fearing taking up the better part of her body. She pretended not to know him, despite the familiarity of his voice. Maybe she might have lost or intentionally deleted the contact, but the voice clearly identified the person on call. Sheila's heartbeat increased, threatening to break the chest cavity. Sheila's husband was short-tempered, and she knew something bad could happen-if she didn't clarify.

" Am your lover, your most caring fiancé, Mike" a voice responded. What a bad day for Sheila. Fiance! A married woman, it did not sound good. Stammering and trying to speak something, Sheila responded," I don't know you, please keep off" She spoke. "Don't you know I am a married woman, not just married, but a family woman", she added and immediately hanged up the call.

The couple remained in a silent mode. They stared at each other for a while, not knowing what to do next. The marriage had been shaken. Sheila's heart was heavy. The marriage she had struggled to protect for long was now on the verge of breaking down due to suspicion caused by her ex- lover. Sheila could not explain anything, she had no energy to do so. Looking at her husband's wrinkled face terrified her a lot. Her facial expressions gradually changed, the eyes turning watery and her face frowned. Soon she was emitting tears, rolling down her cheeks like a flooded river filled to the brim.

The phone rang, Mike again! Maybe he was sent to ruin their marriage. Sheila hesitated, determined not to pick the call. But guess what? Sheila's husband, Mr. Simon picked up the phone and received. "Hello dear, please give me a chance to explain, I still love you so much" Mike spoke. A deep voice roared back, "Am Sheila's husband, how can I help you thick-headed man? Keep off my wife or else I am coming for you, to battle you up and think it won't be friendly am", Simon uttered to scare the man away. Mike could not utter any other word but to hang up the call.

Mr. Simon and his wife had to talk about the issue at hand. "My wife, it is so unfortunate that you have chosen to cheat on me. What have I ever given you to extent if you have an affair outside marriage? I want the truth from you", Simon roared like a lion.

Sheila could not speak even a single word. He was furiously crying like a small agitated child. Simon wanted clarity about his relationship with the stranger who had introduced himself as Mike on a call. The more he pressurized him to talk about it, the more she cried. Simon gradually started to sympathize with her. He felt like the wife had a right to be heard. He held his wife romantically and said, "Don't worry, I love you so much"

Mike wiped his spouse's tears as he sweet talked her, trying to re-assure her. Sheila was bending, supported by her husband's chest. She was like 'baby sat' by the husband. The husband, Mr. Simon stretched his hands, carefully touching her as he spoke nicely to her. Something that started like a comfort was gradually moving to something else. The husband, who was now maintaining his hand between her thin brown thighs, looked at her in the face, positioning his head to offer a kiss. Sheila resisted the kiss and spoke for the first time after a long time," What are you doing, let me hope it won't? Exegerate.

"You mean ,... She Wants to take advantage of my downs", she lamented amidst the struggle. Mr. Simon felt guilty about his advancement. He slowly withdrew his hand, but kept his eyes glued on her exposed brown thighs. Sheila was wearing a mini-skirt that exposed the better part of her body.

The couple had healed from the poor marriage shaker, now bonding again.
