Full Moon

I stepped outside with star, and she stopped to look at a poster. I couldn't see it, but she looked outraged. A few posters on the floor showed embarrassing pictures of star depicted as some sort of beast.

Vixen: "Oh no here comes the monster. Save yourself." He joked evilly as star marched up to him grabbing his jacket. He pushed her off and Mr.Ilyusion came outside at the perfect moment.

Mr.Ilusyon : " What is going on here?!"

Vixen: "She just came for me sir."

Mr.Ilusyon : " More posters star? Detention all of you!" what?!

Star groaned and I followed her as she ran off.

We were sitting together in detention when Star spoke...

Star:" You know that thing I was talking about over the weekend? I'm changing it to tonight."

Miyah: "Sorry I have this dinner thing with my parents."

Star: "Get out of it." She looked really hopeful, and I felt awful.

Miyah: "I'm sorry, I can't."

Star: "Fine! Leslie you're still coming right."

Leslie: "My shows coming on tonight.-"She glared holes into Leslie-she would make a wicked Alpha."-...but I guess I could."

Star: "Brilliant."

I walked down stairs after getting dressed and ready. I don't know why but I feel like I need to look presentable for Scott. I let my curly hair down and did a bit of eyeliner. I'm pretty shit at make up so I just did something light.

I refuse to accept the fact that I totally have a crush on Scott, but I don't believe in that love at first sight Crap. So why did I feel attracted to him when I first smelt him? I dont know. Maybe it's a wolf thing, my parents have been saying that all my life.

Mother:"Miyah save some for Scott." I didn't even realize I started eating.

Father:" After all the stakes are high." He raised a medium rare steak on a fork rolled my eyes as they said awful corny jokes back and forth.

Miyah:" That's it nope he's not coming. I'm going to call em'". There was a knock on the door and my heart skipped a beat.

Father: "ill get it."

Miyah: "No!" I pushed him out the way and ran to the door.

Scott: "Oh Miyah hey. So, you look nice." I blushed.."Dress up for me?"

I blushed? Jesus Christ.

Father:" You must be Scott; Miyah has been talking of you for a long time."

Miyah:" Dad! I have not." I left them and walked into the living room. I left a seat open next to me for Scott, so my mother and father could sit across from us. Once father and Scott joined us we all immediately began eating.

Scott took a giant bite of his chicken and finished it in less than 30 seconds. He was clearly hungry.

Father:" Have as much as you like." My father threw another piece of roast beef at Scott, who caught it with one hand with looking up. I smiled amazed.

Scott:" Sorry I haven't had meat in a while, my foster parents are uhh..vegetarian. It's gotta be kinda cool having a family you can be yourself around."

Miyah:"Wow, that must really be awful, but least you've got us now." My hand rested on top of his.

Scott:" But during a full moon where do you shift, in here?"

Mother:" No, we have a secure room in the garage."

Scott:"The garage?"

I opened the garage door and we all walked in.

Scott:" This is kind of cool."

Mother:" Well, next full moon your welcome to stay with us."

Father:" In here is everything anyone with wolf genes desires."

Scott: "Don't you ever just want to run free."

Mother:" Having wolf genes is not just about giving into your wolf desires. Besides some of us run wild and most of us keep ourselves locked away."

Miyah: "Most is, you said most of us. Do you mean rogues?"

Scott: "No. She doesn't know about the wild ones?"

Father: "I suppose she is old enough to know about everything dear." I felt a shiver down my spine.

Mother: "Miyah wild wolves are bit different than rogues. Rogues have been kicked out of their pack and are dangerous sure, but wild wolves have never known a pack. Therefore, they don't follow any code or basic wolf gene rules. Everything about them is wild."

Father:" I'd be surprised if there's even a human still in there." He sighs running a hand through his beard.

Miyah: "I don't understand. Why didn't you just tell me?"

Father: "We wanted to protect you from them."

Miyah: "So it wasn't you in that photo." I turned to Scott after the realization.

Scott:" I told you it wasn't." I became really nervous.

Miyah: "Star and Leslie are out there tonight!" I ran back into the house with the rest chasing after me. My heart was beating out my chest it's probably sunset.

There's a full moon.
