Myself PRIYA age 21 from a town in south india… im 5.3 ft height, but around 82 kgs in weight… yes im a fatty… very fat face with big belly , overall im not on the sexy side… im dark complexion… we are not a well to do family … im the only child in my family…. my father was a taxi driver. My mother is a maid servant in multiple houses… as I completed my schooling with a genuine 98 % . I got myself placed in a very reputed college in a cosmopolitan city… I was really hesitant to get myself to move to that reputed college…but my parents thought that I could be able to survive there and they advised me to focus only on the career… even though the fees was discounted but the hostel fee has to be paid.. and with the situation which was in my family at then was not verymuch appreciable ….. still my parents made me joined that college and it was my first time visiting anyother place other than my birth land…. the city was lavish compared to ours… many boys and girls were dressed trending fashion , very modern it was around 8.30 pm that we travelled to the ciry… I found many young bloods standing in a queue in front of a pub…this city was like a alien planet to me…. in my town you cant see any teens mixing together before their marriage…and within 9 pm the whole village would be sleeping …. many fast food restraunts was oozing with crowd… girl !! to enjoy well , I need to earn a lot of money…
Mom : PRIYA … my child ,,,, don't worry about financial support… your father and I will do the best to provide for you ….you just focus on your studies okay….!
Me (PRIYA) : mom , im really scared mom ….. I don't think I could able to survive this city….
Father : priya ,,,, you must get a very lavish job to settle your life …. so this college is perfect for you as they will train you to the job….and moreover you must earn lots of money to take care of us….do it for yourself and for us…we are always here for you and there is no need to worry about anything for… you are one very brave girl … we know you could take care of yourself…
We halted in a hotel…the next day… they got me admitted to a engineering group in that college …
College staff : very impressive marks Ms. Priya … you made it completely free of education … this is a very high grade college and only the students like you and the other millionaire kids could get admitted here …. so all the 4 years of the college fees was discounted …still are you willing to get the day scholor or the hostel seat….
Father : could you give us the fee details for both, madam ….
Staff : sure sir….
She clicked certain number of times and she took a print out in the nearby printer and she stapled the sheets in two bundles and she handed both to my father.….. my father was a illeterate person and so as my mother …. so he handed over the sheet to me… I checked the bus facility for my place was not properly arranged as … the distance was more than 100 kms…. even so the nearest distance was 69 kms where the fee was about 35000 per semester….which means 70000 / year only for the bus fees…
The next page was hostel fees where that was also like more the same 80000/year ….
Father : mam could you not make any discounts in this department … we are from the poor background… I and my wife were a labour workers , we cant make this much of money … please do consider…
Staff : sorry sir , this the standard procedure… you have came to this college because of the reputation we have,,,, you daugher is quite talanted , don't hesitate in spending money for her well being… consider this as a investment….. sure she will be placed in a very high reputed company where she would earn lakhs of rupees per month…..
She turned to me and asked you could do part time job here also… so that you can support your parents in the fee department… right…

Father : don't worry about us daughter , we would make it …. I will however provide the hostel fees for you … you just focus on your studies …..
Me : no father , this is more than your capacity… we cant live more than what we could earn… I know you and mother would be suffering a lot if I joined this college….
Mother : my baby… I don't want you to end up like us… thinking about current family situation…..
Father : yes moreover , that madam said . we must consider your fees as a investment…. now the only question is are you capable to complete this course and get yourself placed in a big mnc…? do you have the confidence on yourself…
Me : yes father but...
Father : don't think anymore ...

Weeks later

Mother : take care baby….( she had tears in her eyes) call me daily…. ill be waiting for you …. come home every opportunity if you had any free time… id be cooking your favourite meals….
Father : don't make hard for her… child ,,,, just focus on your career… everything will be alright…
We hugged eachother, cried ,,,,I don't know how I could be without my parents in this alien like place… after a while we waved bye to each other and I could see them walking out of the big campus

I was regularly attending my classes and its been weeks and nobody haven't spoke with me yet… I started to feel lonely….I sat in the first row…. none of the girls did accompanied me… this college was a co-ed … I saw many couples sitting together… but not even a single girl did accompany me…not did they even spoke a single word to me…
Even in hostel … there were 3 of us girls in my room and the other two would be engaged ignoring me as if a person…
Why are they ignoring me ? is it because im fat and ugly…. :(
