Feeling the atmosphere within the private airport was somewhat oppressive, Hill suddenly spoke up, "I heard that in the villa you're staying in, apart from you and Dr. Pym, there are only beauties. Hope is sexy and fiery, Nalan Bai is gentle and elegant, Sharon also frequently visits your villa, and then there's Mindy..."
"Stop!"
Clark hastily waved his hand to prevent her from continuing, "Mindy is only thirteen years old this year, can you not spread rumors?"
Hill obediently raised her hands in surrender and then whispered, "Among those beauties, which one do you like the most?"
Clark knew she asked this to ease her own guilt, so he patiently explained, "I've always treated Bai as my sister, and although our sibling affection might be unusual, I've never thought about it in that way."
"I genuinely treat Hope like a sister; she's not my type."
"Sharon is into heroes like Captain America, which I am not, nor do I wish to become. We really don't see eye to eye."
Hearing this, Hill raised an eyebrow, "What about Natasha and me? Don't tell me you don't know who Natasha is?"
Clark did not make any specific judgments, but spoke factually, "Compared to others, your appearance more closely matches my aesthetic."
Hill smiled upon hearing this, her expression unconsciously revealing a sense of pride. She then finally took a big gulp of water she had opened at some unknown time.
"Ding Dong!"
The doorbell of the private cabin suddenly rang. Hill gestured for Clark to stay put and got up to open the door.
The visitor was a crew member of the airplane, who immediately smiled upon seeing Hill, "Agent Hill, lunch is ready. The captain invites you both to join him for dinner."
Hill shook her head gently, "No need, we'll just eat some dry food we brought with us."
"Alright then, I'll inform the captain."
As the crew member spoke, he casually closed the cabin door. However, just as the door was about to close, he suddenly pushed it wide open again, catching Hill off guard and knocking her down onto the bed, while pulling out a gun and firing three shots at Clark.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
With the sound of three gunshots, Clark had already sat up from the bed, his right hand moving in front of him, catching all three bullets in his palm.
After breaking through his physical limits for the second time, although it was difficult to enhance his strength through ordinary training, Clark had fully mastered his current power, speed, and reaction capabilities. Catching small-caliber handgun bullets was merely a trivial matter for him.
Opening his palm, the three bullets lay side by side. Clark felt he ought to say something, so he disdainfully glanced at the completely subdued assassin and said, "A weakling with only a power level of 5!"
"Boom!" As soon as Clark's words fell, Hill had already leaped from the bed, kicking the assassin and sending him flying against the airplane's opposite wall, his face turning beet red.
Hill paused for a moment, finding the assassin's behavior somewhat peculiar.
She saw that after his face turned red, veins on his body suddenly bulged and quickly turned red, even his originally blue pupils turned to a crimson color in an instant, and his clothes began to show signs of disintegration. Even from a distance, Hill could feel the heat emanating from him.
What is this? The Desolation Virus! Damn!
Caught off guard by the sudden change, even Clark was taken by surprise.
He quickly threw the bullets aside, smashed a briefcase next to him to retrieve a healing artifact hidden inside, and then, with a flick of his body, put up a cloak in front of Hill.
"Boom!" With a loud explosion, a two-meter-wide hole was blasted through the airplane's hull, creating a violent wind from the severe air pressure difference inside and outside the plane, sucking everything nearby out of the cabin.
Clark felt a strong suction from the hole and instinctively concentrated his energy on his feet, firmly anchoring himself to the floor to stabilize his position.
Suddenly, a scream reached his ears, and Hill, having no means to resist, was sucked out of the airplane, turning into a freefall from thousands of meters in the air.
Seeing this, Clark immediately released the energy anchoring him to the airplane's floor, allowing himself to be swept out of the plane.
Looking around, Clark immediately spotted Hill falling about a mile away from him horizontally.
Reaching into his coat, Clark took out a teleportation ring and opened a portal directly below himself. After passing through, he appeared right beneath Hill.
Looking up at Hill plummeting down, Clark extended his arms and caught her in a princess carry.
With the help of the sky boots, their descent speed gradually slowed from fast to a complete stop within a few breaths.
Having been sucked out of the airplane, Hill had already given up on resisting.
As a highly trained top agent, she carried many emergency high-tech tools that could be used for survival, but none included a parachute.
None of her emergency gear could save her life in this situation.
Knowing there was no chance of survival, Hill had prepared herself to face death.
Falling from this height, even if it were into water, the immense force would be enough to shred her body to pieces!
However, the expected pain didn't come. Instead, she felt a warm chest and strong arms providing her with an unprecedented sense of security.
Opening her eyes, what Hill saw was Clark's towering figure against the sunlight, holding her securely in his arms, descending at a leisurely pace.
Although she never looked down, Hill was certain of this because the wind was coming from the side, not from below.
They say it's colder at higher altitudes, but in the thousands of meters above ground, being held by Clark like this, Hill felt no cold, only a warm and comfortable sensation.
This was, of course, because Clark was discreetly transferring his energy into her to keep her warm.
Almost instinctively, Hill wrapped her arms around Clark's neck, her cheeks flushed, her heartbeat accelerated, and even her breathing became somewhat rapid.
Thinking it might be the extreme fright from the free fall that made Hill act out of character, Clark didn't pay much attention but quietly increased the speed of his energy transfer.
About three minutes later, the two finally landed smoothly on the summit of a mountain made of white stones.
Seeing Hill's face getting redder, her heartbeat faster, and even her body somewhat feverish, Clark couldn't help but ask in confusion, "Do you have a fever?"
