A Sudden Transformation...

☆"Meanwhile"☆

Master splinter told his sons that he needed to go visit an old friend and took off walking down the tunnels, leaving the turtles alone with the girls that came along. Mikey mentioned something vaguely about needing a new game that just came out and Ana volunteered to be his human buyer to pay for the game. So they both took off down a different net of tunnels towards the surface, while Gwen then mentions to Donnie about needing help to assess the damage that happened in central park so she can heal the damage caused…. And then they took off and now the only two who are left wandering the tunnels are Vicky and Raph.

"Hey…" the sound of Raph's voice snaps Vicky out of her own thoughts and back to the ever present reality, "you alright? You seem kinda quieter than usual."

She stops walking which causes him to stop too and look at her as she lets out a heavy sigh then she huffs out, "It's not fair! Liz is always first in everything! First to develop her powers, first to cast a proper spell, and now… First to fall in love…."

She looked away with a look that can only be described as defeat. Raph could empathize with her, since Leo was always the same way in his books. Yet, for him to see her look so crestfallen when she should be overjoyed that her sister was even alive after everything that just happened... meant there were unresolved issues here. He had the urge to comfort her, but for starters he wouldn't even know where to begin. Raph was always bad at the emotional side of stuff more in tune with the physical aspect of stuff.

He came to a sudden halt as he was about to walk away and he looked up to see she was right in front of him with her hands on her hips, "Ok… spill! What's got the Great Raph so caught up in his own head that he can't pay attention for more than five minutes?"

Now it was his turn to be flustered mostly because of how she was suddenly so much more attractive in that moment because they had stopped under a sewer grate and the moon was out tonight so the moonlight was making her gorgeous raven hair and beautiful hazel eyes glow like a goddess… which in turn made other thoughts wander down a more animalistic route.

[Get a grip dude! Besides, she deserves better than a quickie in a sewer tunnel…] he thinks to himself then an idea strikes him, [but maybe… yea this idea just might work.]

The impatient tapping of her shoe against the concrete tunnel floor quickly brings Raph back to reality. He smirks, recognizing all too well the fire in those eyes of hers… since that was nearly identical to the fire burning in his right now. He gently brushes a lock of her hair out of her face which kinda throws her for a loop judging by the confused look on her face.

"Do you realize just how cute you are when you're all fired up." he said smugly which in turn earned him a blush from her.

"I knew I'd find a witch in these tunnels." Vicky and Raph are on guard the minute they hear this new voice, with Raph's hand on his sai and with Vicky's at the ready to cast spells, "but what's more interesting is a terrapin warrior being infatuated with a witch."

The voice was definitely female and it was definitely getting closer. Just then a figure stepped into the light…

"So, your kind are in this world too?!" Vicky snarled through gritted teeth, her rage for the woman who was in front of them was very obvious and she wasn't trying to hide it at all, "Just peachy."

The woman in question was named Scarlet Cross, she is New York's finest detective and also… a slayer. Her deep cerulean eyes narrowed slightly at Vicky's barbed words, yet her face remained stoic. There was a moment of tense silence before Raph did something completely out of character even for him. He prioritized someone else's feelings over his own… he took a few very imposing steps forward using his large frame to hide Scarlet's view of Vicky and drew his twin sai.

"I'm just gonna tell ya' this once lady… get lost." Raph sneers, clearly annoyed and pissed at the same time.

Scarlet smirks at his confidence, but she obviously knew something that Raph didn't, "You would stand by this Deadly Beast ?! Sacrifice your entire existence for a creature that can level entire cities if she so desires!"

At this point Raph was lost as to what the Slayer was saying. He spares a glance at Vicky, she has a look of pure rage that is barely contained and he has no idea as to why this other woman is causing so much ruckus.

[What the shell  does she mean by deadly beast?] he thinks to himself,  [ She seems pretty human to me.  Well, whatever this chick's deal she aint' gonna lay a hand on Vicky!]

Raph got into a battle stance, "I will defend this Beautiful creature till my last breath, and I don't plan on dying anytime soon."

Vicky's eyes widened at his sudden deceleration and her eyes welled up with tears. The history of the four sisters is an odd one… for starters they are not blood related at all. They're actually all orphans… or at least that's what they were all told when they were found together as kids by a young coven priestess. Little did they know that their past was going to come to bite them in the rear, sooner than they were hoping… especially Vicky's.

The slayer let out a heavy sigh as she casually reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a weird looking yellow crystal that was the size of a small apple, "I assume you know what this is witchling?"

"It's a spell crystal." Vicky stated bluntly, unsure as to the slayer's motives, "It seems that this particular piece is meant to dis--"

But before Vicky could continue or even warn Raph of what danger the strange spell stone was about to unleash… the slayer smashes it to the ground which inturn unleashes a blinding white light. Once the bright light stopped, and once Raph was done blinking away the spots in his vision, there was no trace of the slayer. Something felt off about the entire encounter with the strange woman, yet all of Raph's concerns were confirmed when he turned around to catch a flash of red out of the corner of his eyes followed by a huge burst of flames further down one of the tunnels. When he turned his attention back to Vicky…. She was not there and in her place was her jacket and it was mostly torn beyond repair.
