Father Demon

Susamaru ran into the western area of the mountain as her master had ordered. The mountain was still creepy as she remembered and the spiders were annoying. Still, she persisted.

As she explored her side she noticed cocoons hanging down from trees. They were scarce at first but the further she went in the more common they became, she didn't need to count since by looks alone it looked as if they were close to a hundred.

There were also a bunch of corpses on the ground wearing the demon slayer uniform. 

She thought Shin would be pleased if she brought them back or led him to them to eat. She quickly got rid of the thought since her main goal was to scout the forest and take down anything in it.

She was taken out of her thoughts when she came across a stream going down the mountain that had a girl and a monstrous thing next to her standing by it.

The girl looked as if she was in her early teens with a completely pale milky white skin complexion and snow white hair beads on her bangs. She had pure white eyes with only her silvery pupils separating them from her sclera. She also possessed several red, dot-like patterns on her face. 

She wore a white kimono with an obi of the same color with a web design on it.

The monstrosity next to her was a large demon with dark brown skin that had the same red dot-like design resembling the girl next to him extending from his shoulders down to his arms.

He also had long pale white hair reaching down across his shoulders and his face resembled that of a gigantic spider with several eyes and spider pincers in both of his cheeks.

Seeing the two Susamaru stopped atop a tree branch then summoned a temari ball. 'Master told me to do what I think is best and this is the option for me!' 

The temari demon began to hum a song. "One..two..three!" She aimed at the big guy and threw it.

The ball crashed into the giant and sent him flying through a tree. The girl who was talking with him went wide eyed and didn't hesitate to run away.

Susamaru summoned another ball and was just about to throw it at the girl, yet she had already slipped away somehow. 

The demon from earlier picked himself up and looked around. "How dare you?!" 

Before he could do anything else a ball hit him right in the head, knocking him back off his feet.

Susamaru held herself back from laughing seeing the demon being thrown around. 

The demon stood up and turned towards where the ball came from only to see Susamaru there covering her mouth and shoulders bouncing up and down. "There you are!"

Susamaru jumped down from her spot and ran towards the demon. Once she was within range of the demon he threw his fist towards her. "Die!"

Susamaru threw out her fist as well, when the two attacks clashed small shockwaves reverberated around them. 

Surprisingly for the demon, he was the one being pushed back instead of the girl in front of him. He tried punching her with his other fist but she suddenly jumped over him.

Susamaru summoned her temari in both hands and threw them at the back of the demon's head. 

The giant demon staggered, giving Susamaru the opportunity to run around and punch him multiple times in the chest. 

She could feel how thick the demon's skin was. He tried grabbing her but she only backed away and came back in when his hand swooped past to continue throwing out her attacks.

She wasn't able to move like this before but after the small training session with her master she was able to pick up on some of the small flaws in her footwork. She sent out one last punch into the demon's stomach that sent him flying quite far away.

Susamaru had a big childish grin on her face as she looked at the demon crash into a tree before suddenly crawling up it. 

"Hey, stop being a wimp and get back down here!" Susamaru yelled.

The demon who went up into the tree didn't respond. Instead, the tree branches began to shake and the sounds of growling along with muscles being torn were heard from up where he was.

"AHHHGHHH!"  His figure jumped down from the tree with a roar. He had green skin with blade-like protrusions sticking out of his arms and legs. His hair was gone and his teeth were sharper with pronounced mandibles. He also had five spikes going upwards on his forehead. 

One of the most notable changes was that the number of his eyes doubled from nine to eighteen.

Unlike what he expected or wanted, Susamaru didn't even flinch. She simply took off her orange kimono revealing her sash and grew an extra arm on each side. "Oh what fun this will be!" 

The demon let out a roar and charged towards Susamaru. He moved faster than before but it still wasn't enough for the excited temari demon to have any problems with. She rushed towards the demon head on. 

Their fist clashed just like before but Susamaru was the one being pushed back this time. Her grin didn't falter in the slightest and her eyes were full of excitement.

The demon continued to send punch after punch. Susamaru didn't back down and their fist always met, she would always get in two to more punches after each clash thanks to her superior speed.

"How fun! How fun!" Susamaru began laughing loudly as she slowly began to speed up and mix in her other arms. 

The demon's skin became thicker after whatever he did in that tree yet she didn't let this sway her in any way, she had always liked a challenge.

As the battle raged on the demon was barely able to keep up. Susamaru was giving him the beating of his life with that same childish grin on her face and was breaking through his thick skin at this point.

Susamaru decided to try something that came up during their battle; she put all her strength into both her right arms and punched him in his abdomen.

He was sent flying back towards a tree but before he could hit it she summoned a temari ball in every hand.

She threw them all at once towards the demon causing a loud bang to resound when they all landed. They caved into his torso while one of her temari even managed to tear through his shoulder. 

He couldn't breathe, it didn't help that he was sent crashing through a tree at the end of Susamaru onslaught.

The demon could barely move his body and even if he could it was already too late. Susamaru appeared in front of him and dug her nails into his skull before tearing his head off. She then quickly broke all of his bones without hesitation.

She knew this wouldn't kill him, it was only to keep him down for a bit. 'This was fun! Maybe master will have fun fighting him too.' Susamaru giggled thinking about it.

*BOOM!*

The sound of thunder crashing snapped the girl out of her thoughts. "Was that thunder? It isn't raining though.." 

She shrugged it off then walked away dragging the big demon away by the leg and carrying its head.
