Liam shut the door behind Leo when both of them were inside a room with a gold mattress.

"Can you let go of my hand now?"Leo asked, awkwardly while Liam just realized what he did.

He immediately let go of Leo and stood there, blushing shyly. As he thought, Oh no, what have I done?! Did my action just now make us look like a couple?!

"Sorry..."He mumbled, embrassedly under his breath.

"It's nothing but you could at least be a little nicer, you know?"

"I don't care, I don't like them."He said as he approached the bed while feeling relief, that Leo didn't mind his action.

"But even so, what about the guard? Judging from the princess, he's definitely going to sleep outside tonight. I actually don't mind sleeping with the princess, I could ask for an extra mattress and sleep on the floor..."

"No way! Why should we always follow them?! They don't even listen to us! So why should we? Those damn royalties!"He said, offendedly as he lay on the soft, fluffy bed.

"This is so comfy!"He praised as he rolled around on the bed, like a 5-year-old.

Leo gave a soft chuckle, which made Liam stop in place and look at him.

"What?"He asked, wondering what was funny even though it was obvious.

"Nothing," He smiled as he approached the bed."Just wondering if you're a kid or teenager."

"Huh? What does that mean?"He asked, more confused than, earlier but soon got it."The bed is really comfy!"

His face was blushing, brightly as he turned his whole body facing to a wall. He was embarrassed to look at Leo and didn't want to show him but his ear gave his embarrassment away. His ear was bright red and Leo let out a soft giggle.

"What now?"Liam asked, his face was now turned back to Leo with tons of question marks on his head. (His cheeks were now slightly red.)

"Your ears!"Leo laughed, which made Liam even more confused.

"What about them?!"

"They're so red!"

"What?!"

Liam hastily covered his ears and his face flushed worse than earlier. Then, turned to the wall again, not wanting to see Leo. Leo smiled, cheerfully as he sat down next to Liam.

"It really is comfy," He said and Liam immediately turned back to face him.

"I told you so! And you only made fun of me!"Liam exclaimed, pouting his cheek.

"Sorry, sorry," He laughed, softly."But you did seem like a kid!"

"I'm not going to talk to you anymore!Goodnight!"

Liam turned back to the wall with his cheek still pouting.

"Are you really that angry? Did that offend you so much?"Leo said, restraining his laughter.

"Go to sleep! And close the lights, it's hard to sleep with them on."

"Alright, boss!"He joked and tapped the lamp next to his bedside to shut the light.

The light from the lamp vanished and Leo pulled his blanket and lay next to Liam.

"Good night," He said and slowly drifted into slumber.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Thud thud thud...

Liam woke up by some knocking sound, his eyes were blurry and his mind was blank as he had just woken up by some noise. He couldn't process what the sound was or where it was coming from as his tired, sleepy mind longed for sleep. The knocking continued and Liam turned to look behind him and saw Leo was still asleep, unbothered by the sound. Seeing how the always early Leo was still asleep, he slowly fell back to the bed and when his head hit the pillow and closed his eyes, the knocking sound stopped. Silence overtook the room and suddenly a loud bang made Liam wake up and fall down the bed.

"What was that?!"He yelled and stood up from the bed, he even forgot the pain from his falling.

He slowly walked to the window with his eyes fixed, seriously on the door. He then pushed away the curtains, revealing the dark and serene night.

Who the hell caused such a ruckus in the middle of the night?! He thought as he hastily switched back to the door.

There wasn't any sound anymore and only silence, dead silence in the room. Liam wanted to not give any thought and went back to sleep but a part of him was scared and awoken by the sudden sound. He then decided to do the dumbest thing, he could think of, approach and checked on it. He knew the idea was dumb too but if he didn't do it, he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep in peace.

He slowly tipped toe to the door, his heart beating louder and faster with every step he took. As he was nearing the door, his mind became anxious and started to think of scary and nonrealistic stuff.

Is this place haunted by ghosts? Will spirits or ghosts pop out behind the door? Will they come in to take my soul? He thought as he began to regret his choice and wanted to back down but, stopped himself from doing so. Calm down, calm down. There's nothing to be afraid of. When I open this door, there will be someone there, maybe the other guest fell while walking down the gloomy, dark corridor...right?

He doubted his own words but he still couldn't back down so easily, until he stomped on something liquid which threw all his strength away. His heart dropped as he slowly looked down at his foot. There was a puddle of water or maybe blood(he couldn't tell what it was since it was dark and he didn't on the lights)slipping in from the other side of the door.

Definitely, as everyone in this kind of situation would think what it was, was Blood!

Liam quickly stumbled backward and landed on his back with a loud thud, he groaned but soon realized he was making too much noise and he must have attracted it. He hastily grabbed on the blanket that was laid on their bed and pulled it with all his strength. He wanted to get up as fast as he could and grabbed his weapon even though he knew it was useless to something that had already died but it would make him feel safer. He didn't make it, the door creaked open and his heart dropped the second time.

He screamed when the door suddenly flung open and knocked on the wall with a bang. He felt his soul was about to leave his body but what appeared behind the door made him so embarrassed of himself that he wanted to disappear.

The scary creature he thought which was hidden behind his door was actually the guard.

"What are you doing and what's with the scream?"He asked and Liam flushed but luckily the lights weren't on so the person he hated wouldn't know he was blushing.

Long awkward seconds of silence filled the room before the lights switched on.

"What happened?"A sound came from the bed and it was Leo.

He was rubbing his eyes as he questioned them sleepily.

"It was nothing..."Liam replied he tried his best not to recall the scene and get himself all nervous and embarrassed.

"What you mean is nothing? You just scream like you've seen a ghost."The guard corrected him and Liam glared at him.

"Don't be dramatic! I was just startled! And anyway...How the hell you enter our room?!"

"Don't yell, please...It's still the middle of the night, right?"Leo asked and both of them nodded."You'll disturb the others and I didn't lock the door so that's how he was able to come in."

"Why did you not lock it?!"Liam yelled and both the guard and Leo shushed him.

"I forgot, alright? Your action shocked me..."Leo answered, admitting his mistake before changing the subject."So why are you here?"

Leo asked the guard.

"Well...like I said, I heard a thud coming from your room."

"But how are you able to hear? Aren't you with the princess?"Liam questioned, his voice was lowered into a whisper.

"I was about to say that!... Well...like you know...the princess dislikes the idea of me staying with her so..."

"She threw you outside?"Liam asked while trying to contain his laughter.

"Well...yes..."

Liam burst into laughter, he couldn't contain himself anymore hearing him admitting defeat. While he was laughing devilishly Leo and the guard continued the conversation.

"I'm sorry about Liam's attitude and about the princess...It's my fault that you have to sleep outside..."Leo apologized, which made Liam stop laughing and gave him a face of Why are you apologizing?"And..."Leo continued without noticing Liam's expression."You can stay with us for the night if you like."

Liam's eyes immediately widened as he heard what he said.

"What?!"He yelled but none of them cared about him.

"Sure! Thanks!"The guard accepted and thanked him which made Liam look all grumpy.

Liam stomped his feet and stormed off to the bed. He lay down and gripped a handful of blankets in his hands. He covered himself with it, turned around, facing the wall.

"I'm going to sleep! Do whatever you want!"He said, grumpily with displeased.

Leo sighed and the guard shut the door. Then, waited for Leo.

"Oh, you can sleep here."He said as he moved closer to Liam.

Then, patted on the empty side of the mattress.

"Thanks!"

The guard lay next to him but it was too tight and Leo ended up having to call the now-mad Liam.

"Do you still have space there? Can you please move a little? It's a little tight here."

"No!No way! I ain't letting that creep on my bed!"Liam refused so loudly that Leo felt his ears about to bleed.

"What do you mean by creep?! Why are you even so annoying in the middle of the fucking night?! Shouldn't you be sleepy?!"The guard argued back, he resisted his annoyingness for too long and burst.

"Then, what about you?! Who in the right mind would knock on someone's else door in the middle of the night?!"

"What do you mean by that?! I didn't do anything like that! You're having an illusion or what?!"

"You-"

"Please stop the both of you!"Leo begged, both his hands were on his ears, blocking their loud argument but fail to."Please calm down and go to sleep...Tomorrow is a big day for us, Liam."

His head turned to Liam then to the guard.

"And you have to bring the princess back home, right?"

"Well, yes..."The guard replied, a little ashamed of himself.

"Since tomorrow all of us have to do quite some stuff, why not take a good night's sleep and wake up energetic?"

"Fine!"Leo said and turned his face back to the wall.

"I have no comment!"The guard said as well and turned the opposite side of Liam.

Leo, who was sandwiched between the both of them, sighed and said.

"Good night..."
