Chapter 15

In Shanghai,

"Doctor Bin, thank you so much. Because of your care I was able to get well so soon and be with my family."

"It's my duty to do so, but now that you are fully recovered please take care of your health." Bin said as he smiled at the paitent who was about to leave today.

"Thank you Doctor, I will."

Saying that the patient left the room along with his wife and children who were waiting for him outside.

Bin looked at them and with a contented smile and then pulled out his cellphone, on his caller list the very first person name lighted up and without any more thoughts he clicked the call button, after a few rings the other person too picked up the call.

"Hello, Lingling." He called while grinning ear to ear.

"Brother Bin, you finally got the time to call me."

"Aww, is my bunny angry~ because I didn't call him."

"I am a human! Not BUNNY! Why does everyone call me so!" Ling groaned in annoyance and Bin chuckled at him complain.

"Looks like someone teased you~ and you are in sour mood. Tell me, who is it? The neighbor aunties, or Shen or maybe...Xian."

" Brother, Don't even talk about him! He is soo soo soo annoying!! Since the Morning he has been making fun of me! Even now he is smirking at me." Ling said the last part in a whisper and Bin couldn't help but sigh at the two grown up boys childishness.

"Both of you, just how old are you? And Ling since when have you become so easily agitated? Earlier if someone else teased you, you would never pay attention to them but with Xian, you lose all sense of patience." Bin said as he looked at the clock and then at his schedule list in his laptop screen.

"Anyway, Ling I just wanted to tell you that, Uncle has already booked his ticket and will reach home right at your birthday. Also he told me not to inform this to you but anyway I did--"

"Doctor Bin, it's an emergency!" A nurse said as she banged into his office.

"I will be there! Hello Ling let's continue later and take care." With that he kept the phone back in his pocket, wore his white coat and ran towards the ward ER (Emergency Room).

"What's the case?"

"It's an accident, an old women got hurt by some rich bastards!" The Nurse said with hint of anger in her voice, but realizing her choice of words were not appropriate she apologized.

"When the rich don't think before hiting someone then why should we think before saying the truth." Bin said, the nurse smiled hearing his words and soon their work started.

After a hour or so they were fianlly out,

"Luckily nothing serious happened and all her bones are unharmed, but what about her family members? shouldn't they be here for her?"

"I did call for her family, they must were here before I called for you but now...there they are but what are they doing?"

Both of them looked at the four figures in a distance where two young boys who looked shabby were looking at the other young girl sitting in her wheelchair like a princess and a women around the age of 40 behind her wearing a maids uniform.

"I see, now that the deed is done, they must be here to shut there mouth with money! So ridiculous!! Today I will teach them a lesson--" Saying that she was about to walk towards them but Bin pulled her back and instead walked towards them with his hands in his pocket.

"Well looks like there is charity event in the hospital today~" He said as he stood behind the two boys who got surprised by his sudden presence and bowed towards him.

"If nothing else is there, then I will take my leave now." The girl said and was about to turn her wheelchair but Bin stopped her.

"Aren't you the same girl who changed the hospital just a few days ago? Then why are you back here again?"

"Is a doctor so free to chit chat with people by blocking there way? Or maybe you just don't have the normal ethics a doctor must have."

"Fine I don't have the ethics, but what about you? showing off your power and money infront of the weak and buying thier dignity with it. Tell me who is worse!" Bin said with a serious expression while the girl looked at him angrily.

"Doctor! What are you doing!?" The same nurse asked as she stood between them and kept looking at the girl with a apologetic smile.

"Teaching this rich lady some manners."

"But why!??"

"What do you mean by why? Didn't you see her giving money to those two kids to shut their mouth?"

"Doctor Bin!!! I think there is some misunderstanding. I wasn't talking about them but them." She said while pointing to the other side, where a man with a proud loud and loud look was talking with two young girls who seemed all helpless.

That man handed them a white envelope forcefully but they threw it on the ground and even pushed him back, kicked him in his legs and left from there.

"Looks like they didn't need any help." Bin said as he looked at them walking towards the ward with a smile.

"But what about you three?" He asked again,

" Doctor, Miss was just giving us money for our mother's operation that will happen tomorrow. She is just helping us." one of the boy's said,

"Our mother used to work under her as maid but had to quit soon because of her illness yet Miss was kind enough to come here and give us financial support under such a short notice." the other boy said and Bin now understanding the whole situation felt quite guilty for saying such words to her.

The nurse who was able to feel the awkward air, acted fast and took the boys with her, on the other hand the girl was about to leave but Bin came before her and once again blocked her way.

"How many more times are you going to block my way and insult me without knowing the actual context?" She asked as she glared at him with her light brown eyes.

"Those eyes remind me of someone..." He thought and before going into some deep thinking again, her bowed before her.

"I assumed it all wrong, please forgive me for my wrong." He said with utmost sincerity.

"I don't want to waste anymore time here! Let's go! And next time, think thrice before accusing anyone, or else this won't just end with a simple apology but more." She said and left him there with a rising heartbeat.

"Doctor Bin, I am so sorry! Because of me you got confused and ended up in such a situation."

"It's okay, I will just take today as lesson...but that girl is very good one. Despite being young, she is kind and strong at the same time."

" Doctor Bin, I respect everyone choices but the age difference between you two is a bit too much--"

"Nurse Min, you are too much free to think of all the werid things, aren't you? Let's go and work." Bin said as he hit her head gently with his knuckles.

"Sorry Doctor!" She said while rubbing her head and walking behind him.
