Winter Empire

The Company of Rose is one of the oldest and most famous free companies in Essos. It was founded by the self-exiled royalty of House Stark who refused to bend the knee with Torrhen Stark, the king who knelt, when he vowed his loyalty to Aegon the Conqueror in 1 AC. After the Fall of the Dragons, Sirius Stark, the current head of the Company of Rose, decides to return to Winterfell to reunite their estranged family. ------------------------------------------------------------------- A young history student dies suddenly while studying the Book of The Dead suddenly finds himself in a great hall facing 42 solemn men in weird clothing, an obscenely tall man with an African Wolf head holding a queer scale and on its two pans was one human heart and on the other was a feather of some bird. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do not claim ownership of Game of Thrones or any related characters belonging to Game of Thrones. House Mormont

Jorah Mormont was deeply surprised by the fact that Geralt is the famous White Wolf, yet he merely nodded in gratitude and

appreciation as he knows how strong Geralt is from the rumors and from the recounts of his niece and her men who saw him fighting earlier. He ordered all to start feasting. Sirius was surprised when he saw how collected Jorah seemed and how he looked nothing like he knew him after his banishment.

He mused at how a woman can be the downfall of a Lord and his whole house with him. Jorah will later go in to be charmed by Lynesse Hightower and marry her only to be her slave and bring the barely surviving House Mormont into true bankruptcy. He will even start slave trading to provide for her lavish spending only to end up fleeing in fear of getting executed by Lord Stark just a few years after being knighted by Robert Baratheon in the Greyjoy Rebellion.

He got rid of his messy thoughts and decided to enjoy the feast. Well, it was not much of a feast when almost everyone was drunk except the child Missandei who was not allowed to drink, and him who had abnormal metabolism that made it nigh impossible for him to get intoxicated. The food was great though, nothing too sophisticated, but the various kinds of fishes that inhabit these cold waters had clear tender meat that was very fulfilling. Sirius lost himself in the food and Bourbon that he brought with him.

He suddenly noticed Dacey walking his way in a staggering manner, apparently drunk. She directly sat on his lap and leaned on him suddenly. He was not drunk, but well the girl wanted him and he had no problem to just give her his virginity. He took her up into an empty room under the jealous gaze of Missandei. He was amused by her obvious glares, as he did not think such a young girl will understand the concept of jealousy. Well, he reminded himself that women in this world usually marry by sixteen, so she could be considered a teen in his old life.

Focusing on the tussling drunk beauty in his arms, who unlike Missandei was a grown up girl with a ripe body. Although Dacey was born three years before him, he developed faster so physically he was older. Not that he minded older women though. He quietly appreciated her pretty moon-like pale face and stared longingly at her wide black eyes and leaned in for a long kiss.

He put her in bed and tried to ask her gently, "Dacey, are you sure about this?"

Her eyes focused for a second and replied firmly, "Yes, take me as your woman tonight." He stopped hesitating and just enjoyed his first night in both worlds. Although he was an amateur he did 'research' quite a bit in his past life. He tried all possible techniques to satisfy both of them.

He woke up the next morning, with Dacey in his arms, he was surprised to find out she was a virgin. He assumed from her direct advances that she was experienced, yet she was as innocent as she could be. He did not feel any guilt though; as he already decided to keep her as his wife.

From his knowledge, he knows she is an honorable straightforward woman who would later get assassinated at the hands of the Boltons and the Freys in the Red Wedding, serving as Robb Stark's Kingsguard. He already decided to have more than one wife anyway so why leave his first woman. Sirius knows he has some possessive tendencies so he knew he had to keep her with him instead of abandoning her to some random man to have her later.

He had no problem as he can marry her now, and later when he ascended his throne as King of Winter in Westeros and Pharaoh in Essos, he can have as many wives as he wants. He will adopt the ancient Egyptian practice of polygamy for royalty, having some Royal Wives and one Great Royal Wife to rule as his Queen. The Faith would oppose him anyway for his magical nature, which he does not plan to hide for long. The Targaryens had polygamous and incestuous marriages and everyone just sulked to the side because of their meager lesser dragons, while he will have the great Kisara by his side to bath any opposition in her blue flames. He threw all these various thoughts behind his back and left the room. He went outside to breathe some fresh air.

After relaxing in the early wind and the supposedly cold weather which he felt was just breezy, he moved to meet Lord Mormont in his solar. He was let in and sat with him to enjoy a cup of milk with some honey cakes. After a short time of random small talks, Jorah leaned back and asked frankly, "So Geralt, what do you need?" Sirius went silent for a minute and then stood up gracefully.

His icy eyes gleamed with a fierce light and said "It is not Geralt, it is Crown Prince Sirius Stark, heir to the Winter Kingdom and the rightful King in the North." Jorah stood up in shock.

"Bloody hell! What do you mean?"

"Lord Mormont, your ancestors were given these lands by my ancestor King Rodrik Stark and they established House Mormont on it centuries ago. I am the last of the line of King Jon Stark, son of King Torrhen Stark and my ancestry dates back to King Brandon the Builder. I am the rightful heir to the North. Also, along with my father King Cregan the Founder, we established the Winter Kingdom in Essos, in the lands of the ancient Ghiscari Empire."

Sirius stopped for a few moments for Jorah to collect himself and kept going, "We have 80,000 trained soldiers and a naval fleet to bring them to any shore in Westeros. Know that this secret can only die with you until I allow it, otherwise my ships will lay waste to Bear Island with all its people and decimate House Mormont."

He noticed that Jorah was terrified enough and started to tempt him, "I know that you are a man of honor and will not betray the Starks in Winterfell, so I will not ask you to stab them in the back, nor do I plan to fight them. I will convince them peacefully with my claim as the only Royal Stark branch left. Also, I will marry your niece Dacey today under the heart tree here in Mormont Keep." Sirius added bait to tempt him to bend the knee and swear his fealty to him.

Jorah looked conflicted and unconvinced, as he asked slowly, "What is your proof? I am not even convinced that you are a true Stark with your looks, how will you convince the rest of the North? How will you convince Lord Stark?"

Sirius looked amused and asked, "Lord Mormont can you tell me why among the various Kings in the North in the ancient times since Bran the Builder, only the Starks prevailed over all their adversaries after a thousand years of bitter fighting? They had no dragons like the Targaryens, yet they unified the North and subdued the other Kings and Royal Houses into Lords and Bannermen? How did they vanquish the Dustins' Barrow Kings, the Boltons' Red Kings, the Warg King, the Marsh Kings, the Flints, the Slates, the Umbers, the Lockes, the Glovers, the Ryders? How did they force the Blackwoods to flee, and annihilated the Greenwoods, Towers,Ambers, and Frosts?"

Jorah stayed silent for a few moments and replied hesitantly, "Well, the records mentioned their armies were never defeated as they were always aided by Direwolves in their desperate times and always managed to overturn the tides of battle to their side so they took the wolves as their sigil, no one is sure about these claims..." He stopped talking as he saw a wide smug smile drawn on Sirius's face.

Sirius exclaimed, "They were not direwolves my dear lord, they were Shapeshifter Starks!" He proceeded to remove his outer cloak and move to a wide clearing in the room. Suddenly Sirius phased into a giant white wolf to the astonishment of Jorah who stood there staring with a wide gaped mouth.

Jorah trembled as the wolf approached him, the huge wolf towered over him and its icy blue eyes stared down at him like a predator, Jorah's knees grew weak as he saw its menacing sharp fangs. He doubted he could draw Longclaw before the wolf bit his entire head off. Fortunately, Sirius phased back into his human form and proceeded to cover himself with his cloak.

"Lord Mormont, this is how my ancestors built their Kingdom and unified the North as Kings of the First Men. Now you know enough secrets to doom your entire house, you have to choose now pledge your loyalty to your true King and have the honor to be the first to follow me, along with having a Royal Wife from your house along with riches and prosperity or be the last Lord Mormont to ever exist." Sirius stopped talking after presenting his ultimatum and waited for Jorah's reply.

After a few minutes of contemplating, Jorah unsheathed Longclaw, stabbed it to the ground, and bent his knee proclaiming, "I, Lord Jorah Mormont, pledge my allegiance to King Sirius Stark. House Mormont shall be your bannermen for perpetuity. I will shield your back and keep your counsel and give my life for yours if need be. I swear by the Old Gods." He swore solemnly.

Sirius stared at him quietly for a few seconds and smiled gently showing his pearly white teeth, unlike his terrifying fangs a few minutes earlier, and replied "Rise Lord Mormont, you have my trust.".
