Ruffians
Cassian stopped his steed a certain distance away from the Kenworthy duchy. Then he tied the horse to a nearby tree trunk before heading towards the wall. He briefly glanced around to make sure that there were no patrolling knights before jumping across the wall.
It was too easy. He directly landed inside the garden near his mate's room. Displeasure crept into him due to learning the fact about the lack of security. Just like him, anyone with bad intentions can also enter his mate's space.
Cassian was disappointed with the Kenworthy duchy's negligence. He made a mental note to appoint some of his men near his mate's quarters when he returned.
With that decision made, he moved towards his mate's room while he turned into his wolf form. Seeing a familiar open window, he jumped inside and leisurely walked towards the bed.
