The food on the plate didn't decrease much. Marissa just kept on pushing them with her spoon.
"Not hungry?" Blake asked, looking at the situation.
"Hmm…I guess or perhaps I lost my appetite." Marissa said, slowly giving Blake a side glare.
"Then…I think I should get ready…" He quickly stood up from the chair.
"Why?" Marissa asked, looking confused.
"Me…" Blake struck a dramatic pose, holding a hand to his heart, "The unsung hero of lost appetites!" He grinned, aware of the theatricality.
Marissa rolled her eyes, "Really?"
"Ah…come on, just trying to lighten the mood," he said with a playful wink as he walked over to Marissa, crouching down beside her. "If you're not up for eating, how about we talk about all the things you are curious about. We need to clear all the misunderstanding," he gently held onto Marissa's hand.
Taking a long and deep breath, Marissa finally nodded. "Let's hear what you want to say."
