chapter one

"I wanna break up" That's it, it's happening he's breaking up with me leaving me here alone in the middle of a crowded field hopeless and relived but sad, I knew it was coming but I didn't think it would happen this fast this is so soon I thought we could at least last a month or two longer five months of dating how pathetic. "Juliet are you okay?" Jake asked worryingly "I'm fine… really it's fine" I replied trying to hold off the tears not because I love him or anything we were better off apart it's just I'm gonna miss the attention he always gave me I didn't like it when he touched me but when we hugged I felt somewhat safe otherwise I was always uncomfortable around him, "Okay then I'm gonna go catch up to my mark and Justin see you around" all I could manage to get out was "yeah" before he ran off I just kinda stood there and watched for a while before releasing I should probably head to the station before I miss my train.

Just as I was about to walk onto the train I hear a familiar voice screaming my name I turn to face when the voice was coming from and there Sarah was her long legs sprinting so she could get on the train before the doors close "wait Juliet get off that train this second" I wonder why but I do as I'm told and step off the train and a few seconds later the train was picking up speed and leaving the station when Sarah got to be she just cracked up laughing "I can't believe you fell for that" she said in between laughs "fell for what?" I asked confused she just started laughing harder till finally she stopped and say " you got off the train you dork" I just look at her for a few seconds till I realize what just happened and I hit her lightly on the back "you bitch" she starts laughing even harder than before it felt like hours till she stops to take a deep breath and starts walking away to sit down she waves her hand for me to follow her I comply though part of me wanted to walk the opposite way just to see what she'd do.

Sarah finally sat down under the shaded area I sat next to her across in front of us was this old house across the train tracks it has a whole bunch of plants growing all over it I love it so much I thought it would be the best place to have a photoshoot "it's pretty" I said to Sarah she looks at me for a while before saying "yeah I guess" Sarah didn't really like these sorts of things, she likes when things look perfect pretty not perfectly messy

"well I like it there's something about it that I love"

"The imperfection in perfection... at least that's what I've heard it sounds like some cringy thing you'd say or at least read about"

"Yeah I do like that thanks, Sarah"

"That wasn't a compliment"

"Yeah but I choose to take it as one"

Sarah started laughing I looked at her concerned before asking "what?" she just looks at be for a while before saying "I still just can't believe you got off the train" I hit her much harder than last time

"Speaking of train whens the next one?"

Sarah just shrugged "ill go check the timetable," I say then walk off.

I walk up to the timetable the next train was in 30 minutes as I start to walk over to Sarah I hear a guy say "excuse me, do you happen to know when the next train is coming" I turn to face him and see a guy around my age he was quite tall with short dark brown hair his eyes were ocean blue, not gonna lie he was straight-up handsome my heart skipped a beat "excuse me" I look up him he was giving me a devilish grin I swallowed then said "umm the next train well umm it comes in half an hour" "thanks" he replied "I thought I was in danger for a moment how may I ever repay you" I thought about how to reply for a while then decided to go with a good old "no worries" he stared at me it felt as if he was looking into my soul

"Whats you're name?"

"What?"

"Your name what is it"

"Umm Juliet"

"Well Juliet thank you so very much"

"Your welcome"

I kinda wanted to get away there was a long awkward silence before Sarah pokes her head out from the shaded area and yells out "Juliet hurry up"

"I should go my friend is waiting" I start walking away before i could get an answer i finally turn the corner and get to Sara.
