Chapter 3

Linda bump into Jake when she was finally out.

"Hey" Jake said with a smile which Linda ignored and walked pass him. Right now she just need fresh air and a quiet time alone.

Jake ran after her and held her wriat when he was finally able to keep up with her. He stood in front of her before raising her chin up so that he can see her face.

"What's wrong? Were you crying?" Jake asked worriedly. Linda only nodded because she didn't want to talk and was hoping Jake will let her be but she was surprised when Jake didn't but hugged her instead.

"I'm here now. You can share what's bothering you with me Linda" Jake said as he patted her hair. Linda broke free from his hug and wiped her tears with her palm. Jake untied the apron around her waist before removing it from her neck and threw it on the floor.

"I know what you need now so come with me" Jake said and held Linda's hand before they walked to where his car was parked.

Jake could guess his mom was the cause of this all even when Linda was not telling him.

He knew he has to make a decision now before it's too late.

***ARABELLA'S MANSION***

Bella yawned tiredly as she got down from her car. She was a bit surprised to meet her mansion fully lit up. Usually, she will be greeted with a dark mansion but she didn't know what happened today.

"Maybe nanny decided to sleep over" she thought as a smile formed on her perfect face. She quickly ran inside happily without minding her heels. It seems today was full of surprises for her as she was greeted with yet another surprise.

It wasn't her nanny as she thought but it was the woman who took her as her own when she had no one. The woman she had grown to love as her own mom.

Bella smiled even widely as she ran into the woman's embrace.

"Hey silly girl, you should becareful about this your running when you have your heels on. What if you sprain your ankle?" Mrs. Grace scolded her daughter before rubbing her hair softly.

"I'm sorry mom . I just missed you so much" Bella said happily before throwing kisses on Mrs. Grace face.

"Who would have thought that the C.E.O of Christlet fashion can be this childish. By the way, l think am the luckiest. I miss you too my princess" Mrs. Grace said.

Bella laughed at her mom's comment. She was about to ask about her brother and dad when sge inhaled the sweet aroma that was comming from the kitchen. It was only then that she realised how she missed the food prepared by her mom. She ran again to the dinnung room and sat down like a hungry child waiting for her mom to serve her.

Mrs.Grace shook her heas before walking to her daughter with a smile. How she missed this child.

Mrs. Grace served Bella her favourite dish and watched as her daughter ate happily.

"Too bad l can't eat again. Mom you know, you are the best cook in this whole world" Bella blurted.

"Enough already. Now go call your brother and dad downstairs." Mrs. Grace said as she took the plate Bella used to the kitchen.

"Oh no! Dad and ....." Bella realised she forgot all about them just because she was starving. She removed her heels this time and held them in one hand before going upstairs. She was about to knock on their parents door when her brother called out,
