To be brief, it was a quite "calm" volume, there weren't any kind of dangers to our protagonist and his family and no proper villain. I planned to write such a start because I was tired of the over-used mechanism of starting a story with a crisis, and some authors write it quite badly, using easy-to-write bully young masters for example.
To be brief, again, the next volume will mark the TRUE BEGINNING of the protagonist's adventure. The world he is going to is not simple, and I even mentioned it briefly in one of the released chapters. The new noteworthy characters of this world won't be forgotten regardless of the difference in strength between them and Wu Xue's family and the people of his natal world.
At last, my efforts will be put into making it clear to the readers that strength and power shouldn't be taken as the deciding factors when judging the importance of the characters.
