"You will laugh if I tell you." He scoffed. The reason he did that wasn't wrong but that's the worst and the least too he could do to someone.

Serene jogged forward and stood in front of him to stop him going further. "You think?"

Soham sighed slightly. "I was once almost raped by a girl when she drugged me by using our friendship last year. And from there I had this hatred for girls. If they try to irk me! I'll just sue them or their family."

That event wasn't a trauma or life changing event for him. But it still affected him somehow, when it comes to girls. He never told anyone about this, and just asked Bhumit to throw that girl out of their group.

Serene gasped with shock and anger to that girl. How can someone do that! "I... I am sorry."

"Don't be. I had a hold on myself, even though I was drugged. From that day I don't let any girl touch me" Soham slightly smiled.

Serene smiled back and raised her hand to put it on his shoulder but stopped when she remembered that he hates their touches. Now she finally understands his reasons. 

If she was in his place she would do that too. Why always Girls reputation is important when it comes to physically or emotionally. Nowadays there are still boys who doesn't want sex for desire. Her brother is one of them. 

Why would a boy compromise with his body if someone asks, if girls can't. No one should judge anyone based on gender. She judged him too unconsciously.

When Soham saw her retracting her hand, he cursed himself again. Why would he create this much of a problem for himself, in just two meetings with her. He wanted that touch but can he get it! No chance!

They went back to their walk. "So what about the article?" She saw the hesitation he had when she said about the article. 

"Nothing, I am the one, because of whom you suffered those accusations that day." He won't back off in this. There's no reason for this.

When she heard his roundabout words she frowned slightly. "Did you post that article? Or you ordered someone?" Even last time she assumed it by his guilty face. But now she doubts it.

He didn't reply. 

"Soham!" Serene held his sleeves without touching him. Now she is sure that he didn't do anything. But did he accept those accusations even.

He sighed when he saw her determined eyes to know the truth. He decided to explain things. "The one who uploaded that video was a girl who liked me and wanted to take revenge on you. She knew about you being an orphan after hearing it from you in the cafeteria. And the one who told her about our incident was one of my batchmate and group mate, he did it for a girl plus money.

Both the culprits are related to me. So obviously, I am the reason!"

When Serene heard his reply, she badly wanted to smack his head. How can he let her misunderstood him? "God, how can you have such a baseless reason for this? It's not your fault!" She almost yelled at him.

Soham didn't want to understand it, not because he didn't. He just hated the part where someone abused her because of him. "No I am the reason."

She is aware of his contemplating heart because of her suffering by his eyes. She doesn't know how to solve this problem this time. Suddenly she thought of trying it hypothetically.

"Listen just imagine I am your girlfriend okay?"

"Okay!" He immediately replied. He liked this status of her. 'His girlfriend'.

"So if some day, someone started liking me and tried to hurt you because of me. Are you gonna blame me for that?"

"Of course not! You are my girlfriend, that's his problem that he can't accept that. I would only beat the shit out of him." He won't let anyone take away his girlfriend from him. Serene is his!

Soham was still cursing that guy in his mind for liking his girlfriend when suddenly he realised something.
