Promise
Soham brought her back to their group table, where the whole table was full of plates of food snacks and drinks. Serene's whole attention was on the table and didn't see someone familiar back to her.
As she reached, the familiar back turned to her and she faced him
Froze. Her legs froze at its place. 'Brother?' 'Didn't he say that he won't come?'
Noticing her stiff body by one look of Harry, Soham slightly frowned.
Varun excitedly stood up from his chair and introduced her to Harry.
"Serene meet Harry. He is one of our group members. He doesn't usually come to the college because of his programming. But today he is done. You will see him often from now on." He said in one breath.
"Hi" Serene forcefully smiled and greeted him.
Finding her reaction cute Harry almost laughed. He is glad that he gave her this fright. "Hello pretty lady." He smiled and moved his hand forward for her to shake. Somewhere in his smile there was teasing too. Soham saw it clearly. His frown deepened.
