As close as before

When he saw no movement from her side, he went close to her and slowly hugged her waist "Hug me" He said it again but this time more coldly, as like an order.

Initially he was too anxious, by all the turn of events to think about the feeling of hugging someone. 

But now having her in his arms was very strange, very very strange, but all the above very pleasant to heart. His hold on her waist gets more gentle with the image of her wincing in pain. 

Serene gets hardened with his touch. It was not the first time for her to be hugged but this feeling she got from him, was totally a stranger to her. 

She didn't know what to do but when he hugged her closely to his chest she unknowingly hugged his neck.

"I am picking you up slightly just try to wrap your legs around me. Okay?" He huskily said close to her ear.

The breath of his almost made her tremble, but she controlled and obediently stood up on her toes for him to pick her up. 

He slowly picked her up and as she took her time to circle her legs around him. "I am gonna hold you from your bottom okay?" He took her permission first before taking any steps.

She put her forehead on his shoulder, embarrassingly. She nodded her head slightly and hummed for his question. The pain she expected from this position, never happened. 

Soham held her back and bottom closely to himself so that his movement won't cause pain to her waist. 

He went downstairs towards the parking lot. He doesn't believe in infirmary treatment for her. He would rather believe in a hospital, 20 minutes away, for a better physician with an x-ray to be sure about her condition. These facilities aren't available in orphanages. 

Serene looked up from his shoulder to know the place where they are, when she realised with the movement of his steps that they aren't going to infirmary.

She separated herself slightly from him and asked "Where we are going?" She didn't notice that her action made their position more sensual for the kids, luckily they were not there. 

But for Soham it was breathtaking. He forgot to breathe or walk, when he saw her that close to his face. An image crosses his mind at that moment, the moment when she was this close to him too at the staircase. Their first kiss. He unknowingly looked at her red plump lips. He suddenly wanted to have it again.

Serene eyes widened when she saw him looking at her dazedly. She realised how close they are, how close their faces are right now. She immediately hugged his neck tightly this time to hide her face.

Soham came back to his senses when his plump cherry was hidden by someone in his neck. He coughed slightly before saying. "We are going to the hospital, for the better treatment."

Serene was too embarrassed to reply and he didn't wait for it too. He straightaway went to his car and opened it with one arm, before carefully helping her to sit properly.

They reached the hospital in less than 20 minutes. Soham asked for a stretcher but Serene asked for a wheelchair.

"It's not like I got cut or something. Wheelchair would do too. Only bring a wheelchair I am telling you." She said almost like ordering him. As much as she knows about him, he will do what he finds better for her.

As she asked he did and brought a wheelchair and two nurses with him to help her in sitting on a wheelchair.

When Serene saw two nurses, she frowned with disappointment. 'Did he compromise with the situation and help her. But now when he had the choice he wanted to leave?' 

When he hugged her before, she somehow felt happy that he didn't mind touching her but now with nurses! Everything looks clear. Hmph! He took the nurses help to even wheel the chair. Like affirming her doubts.

But whatever she thought was actually misunderstanding, the reason why Soham brought those nurses was because he wanted the professional care for her so that she won't suffer from pain. And the reason for letting the nurses wheel the chair because he doesn't know the direction. That's it.
