"Who is Kageyama?" I ask and Akina laughs a bit before saying

"It's his way or the highway kind of guy, you didn't like him."

"Really?"

"Yea there was this one time when he-" She started, but suddenly I couldn't hear what she was saying and everything went black.

I was surrounded by darkness, and in the far distance was a bright light.

'Where am I?' thought to myself while I looked down at my hands, wondering how I got here.

"Now, with everyone watching-" I heard a deep voice say, probably a male's, while sirens flared in the background "We will die."

"Die? Am I dead?" I wonder aloud

'I guess this is the best way to go, not having any regrets... Well, none that I can remember.' I think to myself

'I'll buy you one when I go to the store next time.' A sudden promise plays through my head and I tilt my head in confusion

"What was I suppose to buy, and who for?" I say when suddenly a bright light engulfs me.

My lungs sharply gasp for air, and I struggled for a moment but I quickly clammed down my breathing.

I looked around that room, but there where doctors all around me. I looked confusly up at them, when a familiar face pushed through the wall of doctors.

"F/n! Your alive." Akina said through her sobs while she wrapped her arms around my neck

"Y-yea?" I say a bit confused, while I stared at her for answers but before she could say anything my Mom quickly hugged me too.

"I should have never left you." She mumbled in my ear

"What happened?" I finally asked

"We were talking about one of our classmates when suddenly you-" Akina said and I tilted my head in confusion, wondering if she was going to continue

"It doesn't matter, you are fine now. Thats all that matters." She said with a small smile before she excused herself from the room

'Why wont anyone tell me anything?' I wonder to myself

Most of the doctors and nurses leave, while just one doctors stays back to do tests on me.

"So F/n, how are you feeling." The doctor asked while he examined my eyes and ears

"Confused." I say, and he gestures for me to open my mouth

"Why are you confused?" He asked while he quickly finished looking in my mouth

"Because I feel like everyone is not tell me something."I say and he helps lift me up, and I take a deep breath in and out

"Maybe they are trying to protect you from something." He says and I sigh

"I guess." I mumbled and he helps me lay back down and smiles at me

"Have you remember anything?" He finally asks me

"Now, with everyone watching-" I try to mimick the deep voice I heard earlier "We will die."

The doctors smile quickly faded and he just stared at me before asking "Did you remember anything else?"

I was about to shake my head when I remembered something

"I suppose to buy something for someone." I say and he nods

"I'm sure over time you will start to remember more things. So no need to worry." The doctor said before saying his farewells and leaving

I tried to move my hand and in that attempt I was able to slowly move my fingertips, that's when I notice something heavy in my hand.

I looked at my Mom who held onto my hand like as if her life counted on it. She looked at me worriedly and I smile at her.

"I'm fine." I say and she shakes her head

"I'm scared if I fall asleep, you wont be here and its all just a dream."

"I promise I'm not going anywhere." I tried to reassure her, but a pair of men caused her to quickly stand up

"You're not suppose to be here." She said while she urshed them out the door

I stared at them, while I heard my Mom try to convince them to leave.

One of the men pushed passed my mom, and the other one quickly followed behind.

"Hello, F/n. My name is Nakagawa Arata and I am the leading police officer in the Kasai Brothers Case." He said and pulled out his badge and showed it to me before quickly putting it away.

"How can I help you?" I asked in a very confused tone

"By remembering."

"Remembering what?" I asked and my Mom was quick to step in

"That's enough, she has had a long day today." My Mom said this time the two men finally give in.

"Here, this is my card. If you remember anything at all, call me." He said handing me a card that had his name print on it with basic contact information, before exiting the room like my Mom had asked.

'What is my mom trying to hide?' I ask myself I stared at her

"What's wrong honey?"

"N-nothing." I said coming back from my thoughts

"I think its about time you get rest. Tomorrow is going to be a long day, Akina is going to bring pictured of your different classmates and friends to help you remember!" My mom said excitedly

"O-Ok." I say while my Mom turns on a small night light, before turning off all of the lights.

"Goodnight." She said while she held my hand again

"Night." I mumbled while I pretended to fall asleep

It felt weird having someone tell me to fall asleep, but also watch me sleep? There was no way I would be able to fall asleep, but on the other hand... I'm really tired.

"What are you doing here?" I hear my mom say over protectively

"I just wanted to make sure she was alright." I hear what sounds like a boy around my age

"You should have thought about that before you-" My mom couldn't even finish her sentence

"I'm sorry I didn't-"

"Just leave." My Mom cut him off

"Please-" I heard him beg when suddenly I heard a book hit the ground, but it didn't just fall it was thrown.

"Whats going on-" I mumble while I try to look at who was there, but all that was left was a book on the ground.

"It was just a bug." My mom lied and I nodded before finally going to sleep with one thought on my mind.

I need to figure out the truth.

"Whats going on-" I heard her mumble, and I quickly went out the door and hid behind by the wall.

I rubbed my arms from where the book hit me.

'It's going to bruise.' I think to myself while I rub my arm while I lean my head against the wall.

"It was just a bug." I heard her Mom lie to her

'I'm just a pest she wants to get rid of.'

"Please get better soon, L/n." I mumbled before I disappeared down the hallway
