The ball was in full swing by the time Lady Vivienne and Lady Katrina arrived. There was so much gaiety and laughter that the cousins couldn't help but smile at the grandeur of it all, especially Vivienne who often wore a sour expression on her pretty face at such events. Lady Katrina was soon asked to dance by a gentleman with brown curly hair, blue eyes and a handsome smile.
Lady Vivienne was not surprised at how sudden her cousin had been whisked away to dance, for she had predicted that Katrina would be irresistible that night since she looked radiant in her ice blue dress. It did come as a surprise to her when a certain Baron Axel, asked her if she would like to dance. At first she politely declined his outstretched arm and inviting smile but he was rather insistent, not wanting to seem rude she hesitantly agreed to just one dance, or so she thought to herself.
"I've never met you, before have I?" He asked her.
