Their Eyes
The next day at school, Claire went to school because his fever was cured last night. Together with Valerie, he walked into the school gate. That morning he felt so bad, especially since his relationship with Fein had ended. It made him feel down and lackluster.
Just walking in, everyone was looking at the two of them while whispering.
Claire didn't understand why they were paying attention to him and Valerie. Was it because of yesterday's incident or something else?
"Claire, they're watching us all the time," Valerie said.
"Yes, I know. But what's wrong? It feels weird."
"Don't let them get to you again. If that happens, I won't stay silent either."
While near the lockers, two female students walked up to Claire. Up close, Claire could tell that the two of them were Omegas.
"Senior Claire!" they called out.
"Y-yes?"
