Hey what's up,why do you have a long face,Sefra asked as he walked into the room.

It's nothing serious,she said and he nodded.

So she didn't take David seriously from her tone,he thought and smiled internally.

I was thinking if I could make breakfast today,you always do it and I want to contribute too,she said and his expression darkened.

So you can chop your whole fingers right?,he teased her and she glared at him.

That was an accident okay,she said with a pou and he could help noticing how cute it made her look.

Remember i did cook for everyone before,when you didn't want to eat it..but later did,she teased him back while trying to hide her smile which was still obvious.

As she was still trying to hide her laugh,she didn't notice when sefra walked closer to her and dragged her by her waist towards him,and with this her smile disappeared as she now stared into his dark black eyes.

And who gave you the right to tease me,he said and pinched her waist softly making her shiver.

I..I didn't mean too,she said hurriedly making him smile I return.

Now compensate me,he said.

What?,she asked not understanding.

Compensate me for teasing me,he explained.

That's just cheap,you started it,she murmured but he clearly heard it.

Did you say something,he asked although knowing.

No,she shook her head.

So compensate me,he said.

How?,she replied with a long face.

With a kiss,he said shamelessly making her eye widen.

What?,she asked for the second time.

Quickly,he said and she was hesitant,he pinched her waist for the second time making her glare at him.

She moved hurriedly to give him a light peck on his cheeks but as her lips were about to come in contact with his cheek,she felt his head turn and instead of his cheeks her lips landed somewhere else..,it was moist and cold,she had kissed him..on the LIPS....

She moved back quickly but he held her still and deepened the kiss to his satisfaction when they were out of breath,he suddenly released her and her face was as red as a tomato,he stared at her for a while before going into the kitchen not saying another word.

Sefra proceeded and made a light breakfast for them as they ate in silence as Sefra admired her with a smile while Kiara ate as she looked down at her food.

They headed up to their separate rooms as Kiara who suddenly saw an ad on her phone about a restaurant job and she decides to try out for it so she filled in the application form,meanwhile Sefra who was in his room dealing with important vampire business,when it was almost evening Kiara picked up a book and went to the living room,soon after Sefra came down not expecting her to be there,he sat down on the couch.

As the evening sun cast a warm glow over the room, Sefra and Kiara found themselves in the same vicinity, each engrossed in their own activities. Sefra had decided to stay home with her, cherishing every moment they could spend together, even if they were not physically close.

Kiara was seated at her desk, engrossed in her book, while Sefra was reclined on the couch, his thoughts drifting back to their shared kiss earlier that morning and he couldn't help but smile . He couldn't help but feel content just being near her, knowing that they were sharing the same space.

As the minutes passed, a sense of peace settled over them. The room was filled with a comfortable silence, punctuated only by the occasional sound of turning pages or a soft sigh.

Sefra who got bored stood up and walked up to Kiara,he was now sitting on the desk her book laid on..,she looked up at him and the night light made her face stand out.

You've being reading this book for a while now,he said and she looked down at the door that had not passed two chapters.

She looked like she was reading but she wasn't really reading and was just paying attention to Sefra who would occasionally let out a soft sigh, immediately she felt him coming she pretended to be reading.

Well yeah,it's a good book,she said timidly and Sefra was quiet.

Just when Sefra was about to lean in and close the gap between them, there was a knock on the door. Both he and Kiara looked towards the entrance in surprise.

Kiara got up to answer the door, and Sefra felt a pang of disappointment at the interruption. As she opened the door, her face seemed flushed, and Sefra couldn't help but wonder what had caused her sudden change in expression.

To his surprise, when Kiara opened the door, she found David standing there, looking a bit puzzled at her flushed appearance. Sefra's heart sank a little, and he tried to hide the disappointment that washed over him.

So it was this guy,he thought.

Umm David what are you doing here?,she asked in shock.

Can we talk privately,he asked and Kiara looked at Sefra who didn't look back at her,she closed the door behind her and stepped out with David.

He led her to his car as he opened the door for her to get him before going in also,she was seated but wasn't in any mood at all.

I am really sorry about last night,he apologized and she then remembered she was supposedly mad at him.

Okay...,she said looking outside.

I was thinking maybe we could go out later,he said nervously.

Am busy,she said still not looking at him.

He turned quiet for a bit before proceeding to say"Who is Sefra to you".

This sudden statement caught her attention and she looked at him.

What?,she asked as though she didn't hear it the first time.

What I mean is do you have feeli....,he started but was interrupted as Kiara suddenly out of the blue planted her lips on his,it was a short kiss but it felt really long to Kiara meanwhile David who got kissed suddenly was shocked but suddenly kissed her back.
