“Did..did he sign over other properties?” Vergil trembled in shock.
Henry shook his head. “He didn’t tell me if he did it to other properties other than that.”
“I see..” Vergil sighed.
After a while, he looked towards Chantal and Henry. Now that he found out that Henry was not the culprit in giving away the property, he was not angry at him anymore.
“You young people need to talk about your issue calmly. In a few weeks, your baby will be born.” He told them.
Henry’s eyes dimmed. He didn’t want to be convinced to stay together with Chantal.
“Grandpa. I could never forgive him for cheating on me and endangering my child’s health.” Chantal stated, her head held high.
Vergil shook his head. ‘..you have too much pride. How will you raise your child without a father?’
“Henry? Don’t you think you should settle it with your wife?” He expected for Henry to apologize to Chantal and even go on his knees just to earn her forgiveness.
