Steamy Nights (P.2)
The two arrived at The Glaze Maze, a bakery close to Harvey’s apartment.
“The Glaze Maze.. I haven’t been here before.” Sophie said as she read the sign.
“They’re cakes are really good. They also have good coffee.” He told her.
“You come here often?”
He nodded. “It’s close to my apartment, only a block away.”
“Is it? I want to see your apartment..” She grinned.
He chuckled. “Sure. Let’s go buy some snacks first?”
Sophie giggled. “Yeah.”
Both of them went inside the small bakery with modern furnishings.
Sophie looked excitedly at the options in front of her before finally placing her order. Harvey also ordered a different flavored cake and some coffee for both of them.
“Do you want to eat here?” He asked.
She shrugged. She actually wanted to taste the cake already.
Picking a table, both of them took their seats opposite each other and began to savor their desserts.
“So tell me, have you and Joe known each other for a long time?” She asked.
