“How did you know where I live?”
Katherine was dumbfounded when she realized that she didn’t tell him her home address. She was so caught up with their conversation that she forgot to tell him after she hung up her phone.
“Of course I know.. You wrote it in your resume, remember?” His brow was up as his lip curved into a smile.
Her pointy finger’s pad made circles on her thumbnail. Her lips were puckered and her brows knitted together. “Ah..haha..yeah.. I didn’t realize that you read it.. Or remember it for that matter..”
She didn’t think he actually read their resumes. She thought it was all handled by the managers and the HR.
“Are you surprised?”
She nodded stiffly.
“Do you remember that time when you went for the interview?”
“Yeah..” Of course she remembered. She was so nervous at that time.
“I was in my brother’s office when your supervisor, Tamara Silva, reported to us what happened.”
