Needless to say, Morris was well-received in the Atwood family.
If Edgar had reservations before, with how he was willing to go to such lengths to protect Katherine and even to extend his care to the people she loves, it was no question how sincere he was to her.
This may be Katherine’s first relationship but she’s already an adult. She knows how to take responsibility. There’s no need to interfere. If they want to seek advice, only then will they speak.
Morris didn’t feel awkward at all. He only wanted them to be at ease with Katherine and his relationship.
He didn’t allow them to feel intimidated by him at all.
He served them the food he had picked up from The Waterfront Well. He served Katherine especially.
As for Katherine, she felt blissfully happy having him.
“Uncle, can I take Katherine for a bit? I’ll drop her off at your house later on.”
“Hmm? Go ahead.”
“Mom.. I’ll come visit soon.”
“Mm. Enjoy your time together..” Ursa was in a happy mood.
