Fun Day

Riiing! Riiing!

The alarm went off in Diana's room.

It was Saturday morning and usually she will sleep in for a few more hours. But her friends from work reminded her last night to meet them up in the morning for breakfast at The Modern Harvest, a quaint breakfast restaurant near Kate and Armie's apartment.

She was by herself in the apartment today since Heather had an assignment out of town since Monday and will be back on Sunday.

Stretching out her limbs, she shook the remaining bits of sleepiness. She moved about, choosing what to wear for the day, checking how it looked on her on the full-length mirror. She got ready quickly and went to meet them at the restaurant.

She gave her name to the host of the restaurant and she was led to the booth where Kate Lane, Miriam Chudwell, and Armie Lee are seated.

"Diana! You're here!" Miriam exclaimed.

"Morning." Diana smiled. "You must be Armie? Hi. I'm Diana." The two shook hands.

Armie beamed at her. Kate told her before that Diana is actually Chantal's twin sister. She expected for Diana to be like Chantal. Instead, she can already see that this sister is one heck of a goddess. Just the thought of having her wear her creations gives her shivers.

"How's it going?" Armie greeted.

Diana chuckled. "Pretty good. And you?"

Armie sat straight. "I'm doing good as well. Of course I'm very excited for later. Hehe"

Kate rolled her eyes. "You won't believe it. But this girl barely slept last night, doing some last minute sketches."

"Ehh?? We're not keeping you from work, are we?" Miriam fretted.

"Oh no! Not at all!" Armie reassured.

"It's sketches for you both" Kate laughed.

Both Diana and Miriam stared at Armie with a dumbfounded look.

"For us?"

"Yeah.. I got too excited and had to sketch it out or else it will haunt me.."

"Ehhhhh"

"It's true.. She'll go nuts if she can't put it on paper.. She'd be thinking about it for a long time.."

The four chatted for a while as they were having breakfast and headed to Armie and Kate's apartment.

"So I got some designs for casual, dressy, evening wear, and formal office wear. You guys can look through it. Tell me which one you like. Miriam, I'll take your measurements first while Diana is looking at the designs." Armie began.

Diana nodded, Miriam getting up to get her measurements taken.

Diana took note of edgy styling. She was attracted to the designs that show off a fierce look. The designs she chose doesn't really reveal too much bust and buttocks area.

Miriam preferred the cutesy type of designs. And Kate chose the mature look.

Armie had samples from their studio which they give for free to designers. She brought it out for the girls to try on, which they happily changed into.

Miriam wore a yellow knee-length tulle dress with flower embroidery on it. She looked like a fairy.

Kate had a purple shimmery sleeveless dress hinting a cleavage and showing off her tanned legs. She's very much a seductress with this dress on.

Diana was wearing a dress that is almost only a shade darker than her own skin. There's an embroidered beading accenting her shoulders and small waist. It's a pretty modest gown but it showed off all her features, her slender neck, slim figure and it had a slit showing a hint of her long legs. She looked like the definition of a goddess.

The three took pictures of each other as they tried on the sample dresses and some of Armie's creations. It helped Armie get a picture of their personalities. She wanted to create designs that will reflect the very personality of the one wearing it.

"Umm--Armie.. Can I ask for a favor?" Diana asked.

"Sure. Just say it." Armie beamed.

"Actually, next month, I'll be going to a brunch party. I'm still looking for a dress to wear. Maybe you know where I can get one?" Diana revealed. She technically has plenty of clothes. It's just most of it is business formal wear and the dresses that she has worn too many times already. Last time when she went to Chantal's party, she even felt her dress was too tight at the chest area already. She wanted to go shop for a new one but Heather will be too busy this month so has no one to go shopping with.

"Ehhhh Is this the Engagement party of your sister?" Kate exclaimed in surprise.

Diana nodded. "They announced it already?" She has been so busy lately that she didn't pay attention to entertainment news.

Miriam clapped her hands. "Oohh! What if you wear the one that you were wearing just now?"

Diana shook her head, chuckling. "No, that will be too much for a brunch party. I took a photo of the invitation."

She showed them the invitation for the engagement party. The theme is white and grey, and semi-formal.

Armie snapped her fingers, she thought of an idea. She bolted up and took some clothes, still in its plastic packaging.

"Check this out. See if you'll like it." Armie handed her the clothes.

Diana opened it up, the other two girls watched in anticipation. She smiled widely, very satisfied.

"I love it. It's just appropriate for the event. Not too ostentatious too." Diana chuckled. She can't dare to steal the spotlight from Chantal. It'll be too much of a headache.

It was a simple white lace blouse paired with a long high waisted, fluffy, pleated ruffle tulle midi skirt in an ombre of purple, grey and pink.

"oohh try it on!"

And tried it on she did. She twirled a few times, looking at herself in the mirror. "What do you think?"

"So pretty!"

"I love it!"

"Awesome! You can take that one. It's actually one of the samples." Armie grinned. She loves how it's so easy to please Diana. Not just that, Diana would actually say why she is satisfied with the clothing. "Miriam, I'll give you a dress that I know you'll love!"

"Thanks!" Both Diana and Miriam said at the same time. They all laughed merrily.

It has been a fun day to just spend with new friends. Diana's heart felt warm at the thought.
