The next day, Ava was well rested and dressed herself in business attire when she showed up at Lovell Technologies for the interview.
She looked for the room number and went there.
The interview was fairly quick. She was then told that she would be called if she would be hired.
In Henhall University, the gossip about Elyse hasn’t died down yet.
There was no choice but to suspend her from working at Henhall University since what she did was so scandalous. It reflected badly on the reputation of the University.
Meanwhile, in Doctor Gallagher’s class, the students were already sitting on their seats waiting for their name to be called.
“Ashton? Halynn Ashton?”
Silence.
“Very well, from tomorrow onwards, Halynn Ashton is no longer enrolled under my class. Since she has not bothered to show up here.” Disappointment was evident in Dr. Gallagher’s voice.
Darcie, Sophie and Matilda exchanged glances.
Doctor Gallagher continued doing the roll call.
