In the Forrest Research Institute, Lucas has heard of Morris kicking out Tuesday Palmer.
Since he had already finished his earlier meeting, he went to check up on his younger brother.
Knocking on the door before entering it, not waiting for his reply, he saw Morris appearing busy with files.
He raised an eyebrow. He cleared his throat to get his attention.
“Oh.. Bro. What’s up?” He asked distractedly, still writing on a paper while glancing at the folder.
Lucas took a seat in front of him, crossing his legs, he tapped his fingers on Morris’s desk. “I heard you kicked somebody out.”
Morris paused his writing. “YeP.”
“Care to share?”
“I called off my engagement with her.”
“Oh?”
“I don’t want to go on the specifics, on account of the time we’re together. In any case, it’s already off.”
“That’s it?”
“Yup. That’s it. Nothing much to think about. She cheated. That’s that.” He said indifferently.
“You sound..” He wanted to say ‘okay’, ‘composed’, ‘too calm’.
