Volume 12 Mother of the heir

Hwan sat on their bed, looking at the moon he said, "Honey, isn't it cruel of nature to unite us and make its inhabitants to curse our love. People submit to power and oppression, once a great leader presented a woman to breed with a man. To bless their union a symbol of their love…a child is gifted amongst them. What will happen to us who defiled nature with our union? I am done trying to satisfy what the world think is right…I have the power and they shall bow to it. Ji Lie removed his outer garment since he felt hot, with a painting voice, "Hwan, please leave and send in Isiah…" "Are you planning on having sex with Isiah? I am your wife and I can literally see your boner from here…you left me with no choice but this Ji Lie." Hwan with cold eyes looked at his agonising husband.

Ji Lie walked towards the bed, as he walked, he threw his robes on the ground. He pushed Hwan on the bed and said, "What did you do Hwan?" Hwan grabbed him and passionately kissed him, "I have defiled nature for my family Ji Lie and I will continue to protect what is mine."

As the two of them had sex their powers grew out of control, half od the furniture was destroyed. Hwan had countless bite marks on him, his backbone was completely wasted. They had sex for two days nonstop, Hwan looking at his husband who was peacefully asleep said, "I am going to kill you if you wake up for all these marks."

Hwan woke up late at night and saw Ji Lie out of bed reading a book sitting in the study. Hwan standing on the door wat said, "Good evening honey, I am hungry did you eat?" Ji Lie closed the book before him, he said, "Hwan, I feel ashamed for attacking you like that, I don't know what came over me…all that time you prepared to finally have an heir…"

Hwan inside his thoughts, "I drugged you idiot, wait does the drug erase memories. This is killing me…damn I feel guilty. I should come clean even though I will be kicked out…" Hwan blurted, "I drugged you…" Banging the table Ji Lie replied angrily, "You what!"

Hwan clearing his throat replied, "I got cold feet when I saw you…with your promise I knew you would decline my offer to have sex…I was horny…" "I thought you went to learn how to make an heir not how to drug me for sex Hwan! I knew something was wrong with the tea, you blew the opportunity…what are you going to do?"

"Soon an heir shall be born…I know you are angry I shall sleep in the guest room." Hwan walked out of the bedroom with a pillow in his hands. Ji Lie filled with anger smashed the pen in his hands.

Hwan brushing his stomach said, "I know you aren't even made yet but just know you are all we got. I can't wait to share every moment with you…grow up soon." Hwan felt lonely to the point where he couldn't even sleep a wink, his eyes were wide open. Suddenly the door was opened, a sweet scent kept drawing closer and closer.

Ji Lie slowly reached his hand towards his wife looking for his face, his body felt cold. With a soft touch he gently placed him on top of him to warm him up. Ji Lie used his power to increase his body temperature, "I knew I was right to be worried, you always neglect your body. Goodnight my love."

Hwan felt a thousand-year luck to have scored a husband like Ji Lie, he took it upon himself to be a better partner best suited for his lover. It took him seconds to finally sleep; all it took was a warm embrace from his husband.

A month passed and Hwan made no effort to impregnant a concubine, this infuriated Zetia and she decided to take matters far worse. Zetia trespassed into Ji Lie's bedroom to confront Hwan.

Hwan assumed that his husband had returned, he came half naked out of the bathroom drying his hair, "Honey, I was hoping we can take a trip to the west lately I noticed you have been overworking yourself."

"Greetings my Lord." Zetia paid her respects, Hwan gritting his teeth asked, "Who the fuck let you in?! this is a scared place I share with my husband, how dare you enter our bedroom without consent!"

Zetia with a calm voice replied, "My Lord till when will you stubbornly oppose the court's wishes, being in power doesn't mean you have to abuse it. Your marriage was accepted don't you think you need to return the favour and give them what they desire."

Hwan looking sternly at Zetia, holding back the urge to shred her into thousand pieces he said, "If I were to produce an heir, what made you think it would be with you? Your presence is stained with corruptive darkness and you disgust me to the core. This was your last warning, leave my palace before the crack of dawn…if I find you here then I shall consider you a trespasser."

Zetia glared at Ji Lie as she walked passed him on her way out, she thrashed her room before she left the palace.

Royals were fuming with anger as they heard that Hwan didn't fulfil any duty with the concubines. Hand in hand with his husband he walked into a room of angry royals all at the verge of killing him. Hwan helped his husband to comfortably take a seat.

Hwan with a subtle voice said, "All rise…I am tired from my journey, and let this be the last you summon me like your slave." King Qin looking at Princess Ella his daughter said, "My Lord, as your humble servant I do not question your authority. Rumour has it that the journey you had earlier was to finally pick a suitable bride to bore an heir with. Upon your return you didn't fulfil your duty."

King Cyrus stood before the court, with his hand buried on the floor he said, "My King, as your royal servant on behalf of my foolish daughter I would like to extend my apologies. She shall be well punished, may your reign last forever."

Hwan looking at the kings said, "Rumours? Clearly your daughters can't handle their fake marital marriages matters. I will never lay a hand on them, you wanted an heir…Oracle! The heir shall meet all of you soon."

The oracle appeared before the royals, Hwan with an angry voice asked, "Oracle! Once and for all, review the one who holds the seed of the heir!" The oracle staff began to glow as it pointed at Hwan, with an intimidating voice chanting a spell, before all eyes the light was casted upon Hwan.
