You Wouldn't

The past week was just monotonous, in the morning I'd be at the Hokage office helping Tsunade on her paperwork while reading the scroll of jutsu's by Tobirama, all were almost Water Release techniques which I mostly lacked.

At night I'd read and talk with Jiraiya at the Konoha gate, he would just rumble and mumble about his past and his perverseness which I didn't mind that much since it was his character, that was my routine for a week.

"Say Old-man, why are you always here late at night."

"I could ask the same thing to you Yuki."

"I'm just curious you know, I'm only here since this place has a good view."

"Then I'm only here to monitor Naruto and Sakura, who knows when they'll try and leave the village after Sasuke's stunt."

"But that's highly unlikely."

"Is that so?"

"I did expect it for sometime, I mean that's also one of the reasons why I'm here I guess, knock them out, drag them back to the Hokage office and let Lady Tsunade talk to them but the more I see them training the less worried I become."

"Really?"

"Really really."

"I guess I was worried for nothing."

"But that doesn't mean we shouldn't stop guarding, who knows they may change their mind, until I or you talk to them its better we still put up our guard."

"Perhaps I should take them out to ease their worries instead of waiting around here."

"That's on you."

Jiraiya contemplated on what to do while I continued reading, it is true that it was highly unlikely that they would chase after Sasuke, right now they were eagerly training while I was reading.

Perhaps after reading Tobirama's set of jutsu's I could look at Hashirama's or someone else's.

"You're taking us out both?"

Naruto asked as I had called him and Sakura to the Hokage's office, Jiraiya had requested to take them to ease their worries and at the same time let them know that they wouldn't be helpful as they were now.

"Yes, we're going on a secret mission issued by Tsunade herself, though its dangerous but as long as I'm with you its negligible!"

"Not really sure if you're the best one?"

Naruto had a questioning look as Tsunade smiled and Jiraiya laughed at him, Sakura clenched her fists as she looked at Jiraiya seriously, she then sighed, I think it was a sigh of relief.

"I'm not going."

Sakura said her intentions as she looked at Tsunade, Jiraiya and me who was at the back of Tsunade determinedly.

"Huh? I thought you wanted to chase after Sasuke the most Sakura?"

Naruto asked as he continued looking at Sakura wondering if this was still his teammate, it was what she said after that caught everyone by surprise.

"Mission after mission I've been useless, right now I don't want to be like that and I don't like the feeling of being helpless, so I'd rather stay here and train under Tsunade."

She then bowed to Tsunade who smiled.

"Alright if that's what you want, go back and read more books, I'll follow shortly."

Sakura nodded, Naruto was bewildered by her statements as he looked at Jiraiya who was smiling also.

"Guess its just us two again."

Naruto's confusion broke and looked at Jiraiya seriously and sighed.

"Oh man and I thought I had the chance to impress her during this."

"Even if you impress her she won't even bat an eye towards you."

I spoke as I began organizing the documents after the whole fiasco ended.

"Don't remind me Yuki!"

"Someone has to tell you"

"I know! But!"

"Okay that's enough, you two can go you already know what to do Jiraiya."

Tsunade intervened as Jiraiya and Naruto left, I was all alone with Tsunade who was reading documents, nothing much happened after that until she told me to.

"Come with me, let's go visit the class."

"But-"

"You can read Sakumo's mission reports there, I just need you to be there."

"Why?"

"I have my reasons."

"That's not a fair example!"

I just sat there while reading the mission reports of Sakumo as Tsunade taught the five, Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Karin and surprisingly Tenten was in attendance.

Ino yelled in protest as Karin and Hinata nodded, Sakura smiled wryly while Tenten just watched the show, right now Tsunade was telling them to heal the fish in front of them? It was along those lines something about Chakra control.

I never listened fully as my job was to be just here, it turns out for Ino, Hinata and Karin, I wouldn't be allowed to talk to them for a week, for Sakura, she wasn't allowed to talk me about training which I was surprised.

As for Tenten she wasn't allowed to talk to me about Fuinjutsu if they failed their tasks today.

"That's final! If you have any problems then come to me and I'll kick you out, literally."

Tsunade said as they all gulped under her pressure thus they began their training as I looked at them from time to time as they sweated under her guidance.

Even Shizune was laughing at them from afar, from time to time she would give them advice as I continued looking at them.

"So what do you think?"

"I don't know it feels like I'm a prize to be won."

"Think of it this way, with that in their minds their drive to be better has been turned on."

"About Sakura and Tenten, I understand the other three, but them?"

"You've read the Uzumaki scrolls right? I heard Tenten was adept or at least good at Fuinjutsu and I may or may have not told her I know someone that's very good at it, as for Sakura, its not that she wants to train with you its that I told her if she can beat you in any category I'll accept her plea."

"Plea of what?"

"To personally train her, but Karin on one hand asked also the same, other than being an Uzumaki, I feel like Karin has more potential but Sakura is determined."

"Karin does indeed have more potential granting she is an Uzumaki and who knows what other abilities she has."

"I'll decide that for myself."

She smiled at me while I just rolled my eyes continuing to read the mission reports as it was helpful and a way to stop me from rereading Icha Icha, so I just sat there and waited for them to finish.

"Gee Yuki, if it wasn't for Shizune-san we wouldn't be able to talk to you right now."

Ino sighed as we walked together, by we, I mean, Hinata, Karin and Sakura, Tenten had to go home as she said she needed to study and train her chakra control more.

"Well it was your choice to accept her training she didn't even force you guys."

"That is true."

Ino didn't complain much after hearing that sentence, as we all walked together.

"Are you guys hungry?"

The four of them looked at me in unison with pleading eyes, I smiled and agreed, well I do have an excess amount of Ryo thanks to some bounties I claimed when I was bored at night might as well use it than let it rot.

"Let's go to Yakiniku Q then."

They all nodded happily like little children.
