chapter 23:make a choice

Lisa p.o.v

I didn't understand what she meant by "you'll make the right decision". I looked at her confused and she smiled as she hugged me.

I looked at toby and he smiled too ,we walked to the door ,he opened the door, as we walked out, veronica came out of nowhere and pulled me inside the house.

Both her and toby's mom took me to the living room which was bigger and I didn't know that he was a billionaire because his house was twice as bigger than ours.

Veronica sat infront of me and  looked like she was hiding something from me.

"What's wrong veronica?"

"Nothing's wrong but I want to ask you something?"

"Ok? What is it?"

"Do you ....believe in supernatural?"

"Why are you asking me that? And yeah only that's fiction and not real"

"What will you do if I tell you that supernatural is real?"

"You're kidding me right? You know that it's nothing but fictional characters and maybe yes I would love if it was real"

She took my hand and I looked at her,she closed and opened them , it was yellow and glowing.

"Aaaaaa" I screamed and passed out.

I felt someone carrying me and laid me on a soft bed.

Later I woke up in a bedroom and I turned to look around and saw toby and my aunt standing at the window.

"Veronica" I called her

"Hey lisa, how are you feeling now?" She asked as she sat on my side.

"Am fine, I think... I had a nightmare, I....I saw you ...your e..eyes were glowing " I stammered as I tried to remember what I saw.

"Lisa, that's not a nightmare, it's...real" she said as she looked down.

"W...what ? What's real? You having a glowing eyes? But how? How's that even possible?" I asked confused.

"It's possible for our kind"

"What do you mean by "your kind"?" I asked looking at them.

"You said that you believe in supernatural right?"

"Yeah it's something I wish it was only that it's just fictional "

"What if I say that's it's real? Would you believe me "

"Roni, you know there's nothing like supernatural creatures, but yeah I would believe it " I said.

"So be ready to be amazed " she said as she held my hand.

She then opened them and it was like the way I saw earlier only that I was scared, but now it's like I was ok with it.

"Lisa, you're not scared?"

"I am scared but I don't know it's like am in a dream and I don't want to wake up"

"Am sorry lisa for not telling you the truth earlier, I was trying to protect you"

"Protect me? From what are you the only kind here?"

"No lisa,there's something you need to know ther...."

"Wait, wait I want yo know what toby's eyes look like " I said  as I looked at him.

He looked at me and closed his eyes, he then opened and it was red.

"Y...you are...a...an Alpha?!"

"Lisa how did you know ?" Veronica asked in suprise.

"Aunt there's something you need to know"

"What is it dear?"

Flashback

Ever since dad died, I have been having strange dreams. Mom died when I was born and dad took care of me.

Unfortunately, one day as he was driving from work,we get into an accident. Dad's life was critical and he fell into coma for weeks and I was in coma too.

During that time,I would see myself walking in a bridal style with someone. He was a guy with hazel eyes, muscular body and mostly his eyes were as red as wine.

I kept seeing him all the time, suddenly he changed his face and it turned into a werewolf, another person came he was also a man.

He was also different, he had red eyes too and he had a fangs and I was between them. It was as if I was being pulled by both of them. I then looked down and saw my dress was blood-soaked.

End of flashback.

By the time I was done telling her, she looked worried and then turned to me.

"How long have you had this dream?"

"Ever since I had that accident does it mean anything?"

"Yes it does, like i said it's not just werewolf there are vampires too"

"What? Vampires,so the dream, what does it mean? What's happening aunt?"

"It means you are  the one who will make a choice between the worlds"

"What two worlds? You seem to forget that am human being and wait...you mean I will choose?"

"Yes, lisa you will choose which side you will choose to stand with"

"This has to be some kinds joke"

"No lisa, it's not a joke you will have to make a choice like you mom did"

"Wait, what does this have to do with my mom mmh!?"

"You're mom made a mistake choosing the enemies side and she paid a high price"

"What do you mean she paid high price? No you can't be that heartless "

"Am so sorry lisa, but that is the rule"

"Well to hell with you and your rules am out" I said as I ran downstairs.

"You can't leave now lisa, it's too late for you" she said as she ran after me.

"You want me to choose right, how about leaving here and never coming back?"

"You can't do that lisa, you're chosen one and you have to fulfill your duty"

"Well how about NO I won't accept it "I said as I ran outside.

I ran so fast to the woods, I didn't know how long I was running but I didn't want to stop either.

I found myself at the top of the rock and sat down as I was  tired. I couldn't believe what I found out and now I was going to choose something that I never expected to happen in my life.

I was always thinking that supernatural was cool and imagining how it would be like to live in such a fictional world.

But now it seems like am living  it only to be made to make a decision of your future.....
