We are the Monster

The blood of my father and the ones before me stain my very veins. I have truly become his shadow, my family want me to be like him but I'm not. I will never be the demon that he is or the deceiver that my adoptive father is. My Father, mother, brother and sister all want me to be the one light in the darkness that shall set them free. They wanted me to be stalwart, unbreakable, unyielding, a true champion so that is what I shall become. I will drag my family out of this darkness and into the light.

Demon

Arno sat beside his pregnant wife on the bed.

He said, "Since you really want to know, I'll tell you.",

"You better, I will always follow any of your deranged plans, but having me get impregnated pulled my nerves." Said Diane

"Don't worry, darling, I wouldn't have asked you if this was a terrible plan."

Tell me everything from the beginning, from how you came up with this plan to what you planned for after I have this kid."

"Of course, darling," replied Arno with a smile on his face.

"It all started when Adan and I visited my son Atlas in the Pitt."

~~~~
Two shadows were quickly walking along the stoney-cracked street of the slum district.
Are you sure the fight is over on this end?
"Of course I am Adan. Who do you think I am? I am a man who doesn't pay attention to his only son!" Arno looked at the big figure of Adan with disgust.
Of course, you are not a great father, but I should've left earlier; those ruffians could be blocking the entrance by now.
And what if they were? I could just shove you in the front, and they all ran in fear, said Arno.
Haha, very funny old friend.
Adan and Arno continued walking down the dark streets, taking many turns, until eventually they finally arrived at a small, one-story building.
"Adan, take the lead," said Arno.
Sure
Adan got in front and walked towards the building. With quickened steps, Adan reached the door.
Ada brought his large hand up and heavily knocked on the door. After Adan knocked on the door, it immediately began to vibrate.
With a loud creak, the door slowly opened as a crowd could be seen inside the building circling around something.
Let's hope he wins. Adan said as he began walking into the building, with Arno quickly following behind.
Immediately after the two passed through the threshold, they could hear the maddened chants of the crowd.
Arno slightly flinched as he heard the crowd.
"Uhh, I will never get over that. How do they even do it to keep the sound inside?"
"It has to be from the big wigs in the upper district; you know their reputation could be ruined if they were found to be here." Replied Adan
I guess no one here could ever do this, said Arno.
Adan and Arno continued to walk forward, and they soon met the outskirts of the crowd.
"Hey, Adan, push through. I gotta get a clear view of my son taking a guy down."
The crowd parted as the big figure of Adan pushed through, and Arno followed right behind him. After a little bit of traversing the crowd, they made it to the front. Adan reached behind himself and grabbed onto Arno, pulling him into the front row.
Hey! Hey! Be careful! The voice of Arno could vaguely be heard over the booming crowd.
Arno, now able to see everything, slightly frowned as he looked toward Adan; the fight hadn't even started!
Adan nodded his head with disdain; Atlas's opponent hadn't even gotten here yet.
Arno looked towards the fighting ring, where the fight would eventually be held.
The ring had a stone floor with short, 3-foot-tall walls depicting the boundaries.
Atlas stood in the ring with a leather scabbard on his hip and a round shield strapped to his back. He wore tight, worn leather armor without sleeves.
Atlas looked down towards a 3-foot-tall man.
"Where is my opponent?"
"We have been notified that they have encountered some difficulties getting here; it shouldn't be much longer." Said the short man.
Atlas turned around towards the crowd, and a smile appeared on his face.
"Father, Adan, you're here!"
Atlas stepped over the 3-foot wall and got in front of the crowd.
"Of course, I couldn't miss this; my son is reaching the big leagues!" spoke Arno.
"All your training has finally given you this opportunity," said Adan.
Atlas reached forward and hugged both of them, and in turn, both of them hugged back.
"Good job, kid," Arno whispered.
Atlas let his arms fall to the side as his brows went up puzzlingly.
"Anyway, get back in the ring and get ready; this fight will be challenging," said Arno.
