Doesn't matter to me

In the dead of night, Ji-hoo knocks on the door, but nobody answers. He knocks on the door repeatedly and calls out, "Sang-won..." "What is he doing?" he wondered, keeping his ear to the door.

He became irritated and sat on the staircase, "Ahh... very cold. My legs are shivering too though."

A young woman eventually emerged from the house after a while. Ji-hoo was looking at her with sceptical eyes. After her, Sang-won left the house holding a cigarette, without a shirt, and unkempt hair.

Sang-won extended his arm toward him as holding up a cigarette, but he declined.

"Hey… I've advised you numerous times not to engage in that sort of behavior inside the house?"

Sang-won sat close by and asked, "So where do I do that kind of stuff? Shall I carry out those things in your place? Is it okay for you?"

Ji-hoo words stumbles, "Hey… I… I didn't mean that way."

"Then…"

Ji-hoo said in a low-tone voice, "Sang-won… Why are you acting in this manner? You've never been like this before. What happened? Why don't you share with me?"

"If I told you that, everything would go back to the way it was." Sang-won smirked as he threw the cigarette on the ground, "No matter what I do, I feel nothing... Lots of things going on around me, and I want to see it and I want to feel them all… But I can't… Because my mind tells me it doesn't matter to me…" said in a dejected tone.

"Yes… to me, it doesn't matter…" Young is seated on her bed and scribbling the notes.

She adds, ''I decided to be alone, so I should do things on my own;

I decided not to depend on others, because that would make me vulnerable;

I decided not to rely on others, because what if they would take down my crown;

I decided not to engage into any emotional bonds, heartfelt feelings, or commitments- because it eventually tires me out;

I want to be feel alive... Not that I meant I need others...''

Jin rushes into the hospital and hastily checks the entire building. He approached Tae-ri, the nurse, and yelled loudly, "Nurse…!"

"Dr. Jin… what happened?"

"First answer my question. Where is Hyuk? I need to see him right away."

"He is taking a first-year resident lecture—" He dashes off in the middle of her sentence. "Why is he in such a rush? I still haven't finished my sentence... There was also Dr. Park Gi-man in the lecture class."

Jin yells, "Hyuk…!" as he walks inside the lecture hall.

Everyone in the class started staring at Jin in intense silence. Jin then caught sight of Dr. Park, who was furiously eye-killing the two of them.
