Once A Week Isn't Enough

Two episodes later, Cody got the feeling that Karli was getting antsy for some reason. She kept shifting around and it resulted in inching ever closer to him. What on earth was she doing?

Eventually it got so distracting that he had to say something. "Are you alright? You seem twitchy."

Her face turned red. "I'm sorry! I was trying to give you a hint that it would be okay to put your arm around me but I guess it didn't work."

Oh. He shouldn't have been as surprised as he was that she would want that. It seemed to be a fairly standard thing for people to do while watching TV together. Goodness knows Finn and Carmen did it every single time they sat on the couch, whether they were watching TV or not.

Did this mean his social experiment was working? It must be at least a little for her to want something like that. He wasn't particularly interested but he may as well do it so he didn't offend her.
